As mentioned in the other thread regarding matchday club, the Junior Eagles is currently in the process of getting re-vamped.

I'm sure you'l correct me if i'm wrong liam but its been a long couple of wks pal Mascots vs Bradford its now at least 4wk since you stated this befor the Bradford game. We've played 7 home league 2 game sofar and as part of the jr eagles season ticket deal that kids who acctuly attend the home games have the chance to be a mascot.this next bit is taken from th fishy site from the season ticket section [Quote]Also next season we are delighted to offer the continuation of our junior members scheme which will be known as the Junior Eagles. An important part of our Fans of the Future initiative, the cost is just £20 for the year and includes admission to all league games, birthday mentions in the match day programme, discounts on community activities, a free draw each game to be the match day mascot and a free t- shirt![unquote]and this was stated back in march 8 months to get it right, and still waiting.although my lads have the t-shirts.

Yes mab you're right. But the matchday club is the first part of the cog in the new junior eagles membership. We have also been very busy with our school work and soccer schools. We are very rarely in the office as you may or may not know due to the fact that we teach 12 different schools in Hyndburn each week, plus lots of other stuff!

Doesnt take a few weeks to setup the Junior Eagles scheme, especially the one that we are going to have. In 3-4weeks time the new one will be setup and it will be the best in the Football League. Because being a fan myself I wouldnt settle for anything less.....

One of the problems with revamping schemes in mid-stream is that it can lead to people being reluctant to join the revamp - just in case that itself suffers a later revamp.

And are we not in danger of falling foul of the Trades Descriptions Act?

I would have thought that a revamp should be introduced in readiness for next season. Maybe I am being too cautious.

Well we'll see wont we. There's no point in pointing out the problems with something weeks before it starts.

Lets just be positive eh? Its a positive thing and we will have the best junior membership scheme in any league! even the Premier League. If you want to criticise it, do it when its launched and up and running and we'll see just how popular the new Junior Eagles will be ;)

It seems to me that others, more directly involved and affected than I am, have pointed out some of the problems. I was simply commenting and suggesting what I believe could have been a more fruitful way of progress. I thought that was the purpose of a message board.
