Gornell Recalled!!
Just seen on the Accy Stanley web site that Terry Gornell has been recalled by Tranmere due to injuries!! Looks like its back to 4 - 5 -1 again unless Clarke is fit for Saturday.

am gutted about that! he was really on good form! we could do with him full time, shall we recall andy smith even though he has only played one game!

Would not have thought so as he is not a regular in the first team!! Sounds like they(JC/JB/EW) are trying to get him back(Gornell) in Jan, so here's hoping.:)

it would be sad that now he has gone back he doesnt get a game as he could of been getting some more expirence and goals here at stanley and i hope we see him again in january until the end of the season

Just when the team was gelling,hope we get him back he's fitted in well and is a damn good player with potential to play at the highest level.Good luck to him whatever happens.

Ok, so Gornell's gone back earlier than expected, but we all knew that he was coming to the end of his loan soon anyway. Hopefully JC has some irons in the fire already and can bring in a replacement soon.

Eric,Jon if you are listening(reading) please do what you have to to get Terry back! Just look at Rotherham, as Gary Thomas said they had 2 simple tap ins that we could never score, we need somebody like Terry back with us to get the team back on the right foot!!! We have a good enough set of players we just need the odd 1 or 2 with the correct attitude and Gornell is one of them.;)

by all accounts he did well when he came on, tranmere fans reckon if they dont go up they will need to get rid of a few of the bigger wagers and gornell may be given a more senior role next year.

He's just been given a new two year contract at Tranmere: Gornell and Cresswell sign new contracts (From Wirral Globe)
