Predictions for Grimsby Town
 

OMG!! :eek: Soooo sorry people. Didnt realise until now we were playing again tomorrow. Please can I have your predictions for tomorrows League 2 home fixture at the FES against the Mariners of Grimsby Town.

Grimsby are currently 22nd having only won twice so far this season. Theyve lost 12 and drawn the other 8 of their 22 games. They are 5 points behind us having played one more. Our first season in the league saw us share 3 points, beating us 2-0 at Cleethorpes and a 4-1 win for us at the FES. Last season we took all 6 points from them, another 4-1 win at the FES and a 2-1 win in Cleethorpes.

Not taking anything for granted but surely we must be looking at 3 points here? Deadline for all entries will be kick off which is tomorrow, Sunday 28th December at 15:00GMT

Apologies for not starting this earlier and giving people more time to enter :( I promise to update the prediction league table as well tomorrow

One of the few games I was able to see last year, a very deserved 4-1 win BUT !!! I think I shall go for a 1-1 draw "In keeping with the situation".

I dont want to get into trouble again so I have PM'd Valairian advising him/her of the continued us them postings just in case he/she does give a toss or they are not taking the mick after repeated advice every week from myself in the prediction league threads upon completion and also warnings by you lot as well!! So if it continues to happen, its his/her fault now.

Aaaanyway, Im going to go for an open ended no defence on either side 3-3 draw today - a real ding donger of a game

I got it horribly wrong at Chester on Friday :eek: , so I hope it will be different today, and I'm not going to forecast a Stanley defeat. Today is a must win game that should help to push Grimsby closer to the trapdoor and keep us away from it (I still think Luton can save themselves), so here goes :

Ok some catching up to do.

Firstly the Rotherham game. Congrats to Haggis316 and WOLVERHAMPTON REDS who correctly predicted a 3-1 win for the Millers and getting 5 points each. I'd like to thank afrikaaner for having 2 goes as well ;) Couple of peoples posts didnt count, SPUGGIE J and steve chippendale - which scoreline did you want? The one with Mullers or the one without :rolleyes:

Chester game. Congrats to ossykid, Tommy McQueen and Kiwi John for correctly predicting a 2-0 win for Chester, both getting the 5 points. Obviously Bagpuss' attempt didnt count at all - watching Liverpool Bolton? No sympathy.

Finally yesterdays game with Grimsby. Congrats to afrikaaner, Redash, Leylandii, Shurm, VALAIRIAN and usual suspect Div3North ;) All got 5 points for predicting a much needed 3-1 win for Stanley. Doug didnt count as it was too late, glosterred scraped in by the skin of his teeth :)
