Makin a change here, giving people lots of time to get their predictions in for this game :)

So thats that for 2008. First game for Stanley and the Prediction League in 2009 is a real tough one if form is anything to go by. Its Saturdays derby away game at Spotland to take on the Dale including Evil et Le 'French and you know you are' Fondre. This wont be easy if form is anything to go by. We have yet to get ANY points from Dale since we were promoted to the football league which is kind of annoying. Dale are currently 9th, only a point behind a playoff place.

How will this game go? Deadline for entries will be kick off which is this Saturday, 3rd January 2009 at 15:00GMT. Hope you all have safe and enjoyable new years celebrations and see you all in 2009! Happy New Year!

No. 26/8/06 we held them to a 1-1 draw at The Crown in front of 3045 people. So we have taken a League point since that fateful last home game at Peel Park.

I think Rochdale 3 Stanley 1 and a certain Mr McEvilly possibly destined to get on the score sheet.

They're only averaging 2 goals a game at home. We're averaging about 0.81 goals a game away. Add in McEvilly ........ we haven't got a strike force ......... Bav didn't look happy v Grimsby (and their goal was a real howler) ......... not looking good, guys .....

Don't want to, but I guess it's more likely to be Rochdale 2 Stanley 1 - and a card for McEvily. Hope I'm wrong ( the score I mean! )
