JC has already said both Stanley players just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. No rules broken.

I think thats true of Steven Gerrard who this thread is about.
This lad is an icon of English Football and is allowed like all of us to spend a pleasant evening drinking with with friends where he choses.
This is a high profile arrest and charge and will probably finish up with egg on the faces of the local plod.
Liverpool FC have decided to support the lad...they have probably heard his side of the story and ignored the headline grabbing prats of the media.
The lad is not guilty until proven so.

Disagree. My comment was posted directly after the one I was referring to, yours.

The other comments were concerning the alleged involvement of an Accrington Stanley player, which makes them suitable for this section.

There are three mods on line and the title of the thread gives reason to comment on Stephen Gerrard.
I'm sure that if they felt that my comments under this thread were out of order they would have moved it or removed it?

Stanley fans have very few opportunities to focus purely on their club, mainly due to the fact that the UK seems obsessed with the Premier League. There's a football forum for your kind of comment, please use it in future.

Steven Gerrard has attended games at Accrington Stanley. I am pleased to see him at the FES and I for one am pleased to hear that his club are supporting him in establishing the facts.

maybe i'm missing summat here:confused: wouldn't expect any player from any other club to buy one of them. whatever the reply was i'm sure i got worse when even younger than 16, askin fer a penny for the guy.:hehetable seems like nit pickin to me.:)
