The Junior Eagles membership is due for a big shake up with lots of new things and loads of new goodies for the children. The draw is in place but when the new Junior Eagles membership gets up and running in the next couple of weeks, the mascot will be drawn on the pitch at half time at every home game.

Keep an eye on the Community Team Page, our page in the programme and the official website for the launch of the new Junior Eagles membership packs

and have checked the community Team page nothing

Mab,

My thoughts are that I'm bringing in 50 children on a matchday rather than concentrating on just the one or two. These 50 children are all now Stanley fans and have dumped their season tickets to Blackburn Rovers and Burnley to come to every Stanley home game. These 50 children are all each paying £10 pounds therefore thats £500 profit every matchday.

And I'm not being big headed but the matchday club is the biggest success in the club right now whether you have noticed or not.

The Junior Eagles will be sorted this month as I'm waiting on a few people sorting things out.

Thanks.

Re: Match Day Mascot

Think there is definately a problem with the Google Page Ranking at stanley & not to blow on a great thing but thought should be taken before publically speaking on any platform representing ASFC, as much as the match day thing is being successful but at the expense of the junior eagles whom at the beginning of the season were promised as said on fishy site a chance of being mascot now to be told its bypassed for the other promotion started well into the season - therefore letting kids & parents down again demoralising confidence on one scale.

Great that youth support is finally getting thro into stanley but yes but dont forget to upheld any promo's or promises at start of season, see it time again as with season tickets for eg.

Thank you for your thoughts Liam. [Quote]The Junior Eagles will be sorted this month as I'm waiting on a few people sorting things out.[unquote] this is what i wanted to know thank you. I just hope none of the parents of the children read the above liam!! and by the way the one or two as you call them go to every home game and have done for afew seasons now and to a few away games with me so let me concentrate on doing whats right, so when my youngest asks again i,ll just tell him Liam isnt intrested in you :(

No costs then ? It was only recently you raised the charge to pay for higher hall charges ;)

You're still missing the point of Mab's issue though.

Why not sponser Kipp for Mascot, he's there every match day's.
Say £1 for Worzall Gomage.....£2 for Carlo Marx.....and £3 for the Wizard of Oz.
That should earn a few bob?

Bagpuss... i really understand your frustration's with the club, they seem to be ignoring Accyweb so why dont you e mail direct to source - [email protected] and copy Dave O'Neill [email protected] For me Dave seems to be getting things done and i am sure you will get a reply.

Good luck mate, can i suggest you fill Dave in with all the details as i'm certain he wont have them to hand.

My memo to the club... please make Jnr Bagpuss the next mascot and lets put this thread to bed and turn it into a massive positive.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Positive side lets see !! match day club looks like a winner nice one no complants there.mascot and car stickers news letters not so positive although we have had the t-shirts for the younge eagles. and only cost £20 but does mean you can watch all 23 home league 2 games for £0.869p each now thats positive.Bagpuss lets not be to hasty with the season tickets although the gimmicks arnt forth coming we or should i say our younge eagles get to watch our belovid stanley for next to nowt.:)

Re: Match Day Mascot

Who said I haven't contacted the club, remember when they gave the Junior Eagles details to a finance company even though my son is only 7. Mab tickets for the games is a good deal to get young fans to attend matches although my son won't be going to all these Tuesday night games. When me and you signed our lads up for the JE we paid our money for what it said we would get, that's it, a bloody con, the t-shirts where a joke too.

Forget that he's not interested now, that's how positive the club make you feel no matter what age you are.:(

Reading this thread from afar, together with the one about the disappearing messageboard link, is really depressing.

How can we (or should I say they?) get the :swear8: basics so badly wrong so often?

I agree totally. The club gets the basics wrong so often. You ask how it happens. I think the answer is that the club has in its higher echelons some individuals who have lost the plot and others who have never really had the plot. I realise that that is a scathing criticism, but it just seems to me that the relationship between club and loyal fans has broken down completely.

As you say, the evidence lies in these two threads. Links to the message board may be taken away, but that does not take away the serious issues which are being raised.

The excitement in the Bagpuss household has reached fever pitch, it's the last day of January. My son has finally nodded off to sleep but I can't blame him he knows the postman will be here in 8 hours with his Junior Eagles goodies. I've had to have a few drinks just to calm down and think I will stop up all night so I can be there as the letterbox rattles and the goodies come through the door.

The chance of that happening is about the same as the odds on Liverpool beating United at the Theatre of Dreams in a few weeks time.:D:D

It's just come to me, due to costi cutting they spent my lads Birthday money on a jolly to Spain or is it a seat from Scotland?

RIP OFF STANLEY

Sir,

I agree your lads had a "raw deal"

The trip to Spain was sponsored

The seats from Scotland are essential and the costs will be meet by "mad individuals"

What can an embarrassed individual do to correct this matter???

I can't produce a pack, but I MAY be able to help in other ways?

Please can I help??
