hardly surprising he opted to return.

Re: Clarke

Strange how he managed to find a little bit of form during his last game for us - don't suppose he was trying to impress his new boss???
Don't get me wrong I was grateful to him for finally finding the back of the net but would rather have Terry Gornell in the team any day of the week.

He hadn't the heart to be a Stanley player and that's the truth. I don't mean that ib some silly sentimental way, but we need players who always give 100% and will die for the cause. Clarke was never one of those.

I didn't mention ability, just heart. We haven't had the greatest players (at the appropriate level) for a good few years, but we've always got by because they play as a unit and give 100% most of the time. It's the Coleman way and the fact that we're constantly punching way above our weight, shows that to be true.

Have you ever actually seen him play for Stanley or are you just assuming that because he's from your club he must be better than our lads? If it's the latter then I suggest that it is you who are the pillock .
I do agree with part of your post though, in that Rovers reserves is the best place for him :D

I would say that our position is pretty good all things considered.

How many other "bigger" clubs are languishing in the Conference having failed to attain or survive in the Football League with larger wage budgets?

Clarkes hat trick was good and we really needed 3 points but he's not consistent enough,if it comes to a straight choice between clarke and gornell it's got to be gornell everytime for me.

No way, just because of a hatrick against a poor grimsby team. He was a waste of space and played when he wanted to play , we cant have that at stanley! Hope big sam keeps him.

Hey Blackburn raver,it seems as though your players aren't exactly giving 100% does it considering how their nosediving into relegation,i promise i won't laugh as Burnley pass you as they take your place in the premiership.(not half),Acccy players play for the club not like your high profile nancy boys on there over inflated wages and egos.

players aren't exactly giving 100%....EIGHT games unbeaten in lg and cup ...wonder how long it is since accy could say that :rolleyes:

nosediving into relegation....we've been there all season so not exactly a nosedive is it einstein

as Burnley pass you as they take your place in the premiership...if that happens il strip naked at half time on any burnley game, rub my arse with a rovers shirt an kiss the dingle badge..

Acccy players play for the club...hence your position !!!...only in 18th now because of point deductions...bottom or 2nd bottom if they were not taken into account....a great season so far eh lad !!!

To blackburn Raver,if you are a man of your word, although being a rovers fan it could be brought into dispute, you should get some practice in dingle licking.Seeing you do your stuff in front of the said dingles will surely add a couple of thousand fans to the gate, can't wait lol.

Can anyone tell me why our under 18s havent won a game all season played 15 won none, drawn 1, goals for 9, against 42, points 1. I have been to see them a few times as my mates lad plays for them. Playing 4-5-1. any other manager in any other league would have been sacked. no tactics, no game play, and a very disheartend team. Thats why Accy wont go anywher fast as we are letting our kids down.

Phil Hackney is the Director Of Youth, full time posiition I think.

I would guess they come close to last when it comes to picking up young players in the catchment area they have to work with. Bear in mind the number of clubs taking on the young players in the North West and the size of those clubs. Some of them are snapped up as young as 9 or 10 by the likes of Man Utd who can throw millions at the scouting network.

Re: Clarke

Lincoln manager Peter Jackson told the club website: "He's got an electric turn of pace and I'm delighted to have snapped him up."

Did I miss something? Apart from the hat-trick, all I remember him doing is getting pushed around by all his markers and seldom getting to the ball ..............

I'd fancy Phil to shackle him .............
