Predictions for Shrewsbury game
 

Hi all

I hope youre not all snowed in and I promise to update the prediction league as SOON as possible but I have been so busy recently and the Tuesday Saturday Tuesday Saturday situation doesnt help.

Next game for Stanley is tomorrow nights fixture at the New Meadow in Salopshire to try our luck against the Shrews. Last time we played Shrewsbury was in October at the FES and Im sure those that were there fondly remember it was all over after 6 minutes, Stanley coming out on top 2-1 winners, giving us our first ever 3 points from Shrewsbury including Conference days.

Shrewsbury are currently 9th on 43 points, 2 away from a play off place. Their home record is the best in the league. From 14, they have won 10, drawn 1 and only lost 3. We, according to the commentator on the Championship on Sunday, have the worst form in the league so this is going to be a right tonking for the Stanley boys..... isnt it?

Deadline for all entries will be kick - off which is tomorrow night, Tuesday 3rd February at 19:45GMT

Ok just a slight bit of catching up to do :o

4 games have passed (should have been more) since I found time to update the league table but it has now been done and can be seen by finding the thread called Latest Prediction League table including Shrews game or by clicking below :

So first of the 4 was the home game with Barnet, only one winner getting the full 5 points for that game, well done to dabeast for correctly predicting a useless for either side 1-1 draw would be the result.

Next was Morecambe at home. 2 winners on this game getting 5 points, correctly predicting a fine 1-0 win for Stanley - well done to ossy kid and Div3North. Unfortunately 2 'us and them' predictions in this thread didnt count for caretaker and Kiwi John.

Thirdly was the Wycombe away game last weekend. 5 winners for this who all correctly predicted a 2-1 Wycombe win and got 5 points as a result - they were : K.S.H, andyh, VALAIRIAN, madkev and Bagpuss.
Unfortunately, Kiwi John put in another us them prediction for this game so it didnt count.

Lastly was Tuesday nights game at the New Meadow with the above predictions in this thread. Stanley went down to maybe a somewhat expected 2-0 loss to the Shrews. Well done to the following 3 people who foresaw that exact result and got their deserved 5 points : jaysay, madkev (again!) and first time winner lancsdave.

I think that makes us all up to date so thanks for your patience.
