Macc Game

Hopefully this will work!!

Just spotted this on the Football Leage site, which has a link to the Macc site

Reduced prices for all the ground, will get the club staff to check that this applys to away fans as well, otherwise they will be in breach of FL rules.

We're due a win at the Moss Rose ( 1 win 1 draw) AND you can view from close quarters how their Star Lane end works (1/2 seats, 1/2 terracing):)

That's a shame.

I thought it was a weekend game and was planning to bring my dad across from Congleton.

Cheers for that Southern:) I work with a Macc Fan - for my sins - so was due a visit there any way, but this makes it a much better proposition:D Any chance that with 7 games at a minimum in March, that Eric might think of something along the same lines:idea: Worth an ask I suppose!! But thanks once again Southern for being the Voice of the club once again.. :):):)

Now on fishy site that the fiver entrance charge is for away fans as well - nice one Macclesfield, (the likes of Rochdale could learn a thing or two from them). Also says the club are hoping to arrange transport for the game too - even better :)

Re: Macc Game

IMHO the club should try to do something to help fans get to all games.. 28 of us at shrewsbury. More would have gone had there been transport.

Re: Macc Game

Agree K.P, but at least it's a start & if the club do organise transport for this one & it's well supported you never know it may continue :)

Re: Macc Game

thing is if they club do put transport on and they get alot of people going would they go the next away game when they have to pay £20+ to get into the game plus £10+ for the travel! i think we know the answer as we dont have an offical away travel becuase not enough people book onto it so frasers make a loss! what we need is somebody to organsie it, walk around the clayton end, cow shed, main stand asking people if they want to book on and taking a deposit of them etc

People don't know if they'll be able to go or not, until a couple of days before the game. Work / Family commitments always take priority. Finances are also a factor because you need at least £50 for an away game, (transport, admission, food and drink.) £50 is quite a chunk out of the average East Lancs wages.

The main problem with Frazer Eagle, People going to book the day before or even on the day of the game, only to find out the coach was cancelled 2 days ago, because not enough people had booked on.
