Yes indeed Afrikaaner, he's been confident before and look what's happened? Our position has improved every single season for the last ten years! Long may his confidence continue!

If you call 3 seasons of looking over your shoulder an improvement what would you call a top 6 slot,(a bloody miracle).will everybody still have the confidence in coleman if we're in the same position this time next season ?????????????????????????????

Every season we are in the league is a bonus, a top six will be a miracle. Miracles do happen.
I will still have faith in Coleman, even if we are 3 points from the relegation spots this time next year.

Agree wholeheartedly :D Spent too long out of Football League :( If we spend another forty years looking over our shoulders, then so be it! Would love to move up the League/s but want mostly to stay in them........

Re: Coleman Confident

The inescapable truth is that every season for the past ten years has shown an improvement in position. THIS IS FACT! Believe it or not, that pleases me, and I hope you will be able to say the same about Eastwood Town in ten years' time - or will you have moved on again?

Re: Coleman Confident

i agree with the last four posts! Coleman has done wonders for this club on limit money and facilitates! Every year we have finished higher than last season. He has brought some quality players into the club Gary Roberts, Ian Craney, Jimmy Ryan, Kenny Arthur, Kieran Charnock. Just a few of the players. He is a straight talking manager who speaks the trurth. Some people do not like him and thats fair enough everyone to their own and all that, but to stay away from the club becuase you do not like the manager than what is the point. If Coleman ever left who do you really think we would bring in and would they do aswell as Coleman has done. What if the new manager got us relegated back to non-league in his first year in charge, would the coley out brigade still back the new manager? I am going to back Coleman all the way, i think he has done a great job with Jimmy and hope it may continue for many years to come.

johyn coleman = football genius.

he is learning, and its evident he is more clued up at this level.

He has a large injury list and no cash for loan players, he cant turn jimmy bell into wayne bridge.
With the limitations, survival is success.

I always thought a forum was for discussing threads democratically,so unless you agree with everything that Mr Coleman does then you are in the wrong.I want to see Accy doing better than they have been doing for the past 3 seasons,if some people are happy to be in that situstion each season then so be it.I pay my money through the turnstiles like everyone else so i thought my views would be discussed democratically, obviously i was wrong. So what's the point in airing them in the first place,so with that view in mind it will please most of the John Coleman fan club that this will be my last posting on this forum. It saddens me but unfortuneately thats the way i feel,i wish Accy well and hope they build for the future of this great little club and i will still be at Accy shouting them on.

Re: Coleman Confident

Why get so upset, Afrikaaner, you stated your point of view, other people state theirs. I happen to agree with them - I reckon Coley, whatever his individual mistakes in tactics, team selection etc, performs miracles on a daily basis by keeping a club in the football league, which does not have a football league budget or football league crowds. You disagree, as is your right - it's no big deal and it wouldn't stop me from having a beer and a laugh with you if I ever come across you in some far flung outpost like Cleethorpes. As K-P once said: "it's just words on computer screen -it's not real life."

I'd also be genuinely sorry to see you and Grimps go, because I think you often add a touch of much-needed humour when we're all in the depths of despair about the latest result! So stop all this "adios" nonsense and get posting!

Re: Coleman Confident

Coleman must show confidence, if he started running around like frazer in Dad's Army shouting "we'r ALL DOOMED, i say doomed! " where the fcuk would that get us? I'm confident we are safe though I do NOT want to see our fixtures pile up due to postponements.
