Not I, and posts like this, will only cause trouble for all the fans and the club.

Re: stanley gone

Eric has shown prudence in his stewardship of the club eg over the seats issue and being able to assess most player contracts at the end of the season (though I would like to see three or four more of the players commit to the club sooner).

For my part I think Eric will cut the club's coat according to its cloth and the resources he makes available with a view to ensuring survival of the club at whatever level it eventually finds itself.

Re: stanley gone

 Talk of financial trouble can only harm what the club are trying to achieve,as Haggis as pointed out Eric runs a tight ship,we all know we haven't got bags of money ,but what money Stanley have is spent with in its means,Announcing the early bird season ticket prices ,earlyer than normal shows that the club is acting in the best possible way to stath off any talk of financial trouble:)

You fellas dont need to many Stanley 'fans' (and I use the term very loosely) like the starter of this thread, though I am not an avid Stanley fan, I do keep an eye on them and am interested in the wellbeing of the club, I can well imagine that this thread has ticked a few people off, and agree it is in very poor taste, chin up Stanley fans, the true ones amongst you seem to know better than the instigator of this rubbish thread.

This thread is just creating trouble where none exists our watch word should be do not trouble trouble until trouble troubles you ! Eric has been a fantastic financial steward for the club, yes, we all want more but we are gradually going forward . The achievements of the club have , over the last decade been nothing short of remarkable. It is always a good idea to remember where we came from, over inflated ambitions trip up too many people in this life please make room for contentment, Stanley have been a great success acknowledge it !

Re: stanley gone

Which remould decided this thread would be a good idea ?

Why would we be in financial trouble ?? If we was why is there talk of a new ground ?

Some numpties have too much time on their hands.

I did have one idea though with regards making some money - why not have a deal linked with BRFC and BFC where as if their team is playing away (the team not the players !!! ha ha ) then if they come to a stanley game and show their season ticket they get in at half price or maybe a tenner ? would get some extra income in and also boost the attendance.

.......

This thread was started in Febuary 2009, over 21 months ago. Much to the embarrassment of many on here, myself included, it turned out right, financial trouble was indeed brewing at the time.
