I fully agree. However I hope he will not suffer abuse from the cowshed barrack boys and others if he plays against Port Vale - none of this bad situation is the lad's own fault. It is down to Coley for having allowed it to get this far. Understandable, but not very professional I'm afraid.:o

what i meant was the inference that he was only playing because he was the managers son was unfair. He was only playing because we had four other defenders injured. I should have just said that in the first place really, rather than assuming it read right.

I too hope that he does not suffer abuse. I may call him useless on here but I will give him support when he is playing and hope that everybody else does.

I agree Jeff, but try telling that to the Cowshed Mafia. With a bit of luck, however, they'll be too busy attacking Lindfield to have a go at Jay. I wonder if they received the same kind of support from those around them in the early days of their own respective jobs?!
