Spring fever !!!
 
Alfred.E. reminded me that it was now time to post my annual Springtime persiflage !!.
It would appear that the Vernal Equinox has engendered a new spirit of hope and adventure at the FES !, whilst transferring the gnawing blue-square blues of potential relegation felt in January and February onto the hapless followers of Chester City !.
The Ultras are in superb form !..Whenever are they anything but ?.
Wyn and Cashy are full of smiles as they quaff their pre-match libations in th'Oaklea !. The 'I HATE COLEY' faction have seemingly forgotten all their detracting differences with our manager and his Able Assistant..and dissipated into the ether !.
There are new Seats to be sat on !...
New happy faces to behold in the Director's Box !.
New 'Initiatives' which seem to be aimed at creating a better life for the loyal 1000 !.
All this convinces me that Spring 2009 is, for Accrington Stanley and it's Fans, a special time indeed !., and I am, unashamedly seeing it all through my Red-Tinted Spectacles !!.
Whatever else transpires between now and the end of the current season, all we
supporters can do is sit back and admire the Team's efforts over the last six weeks, and look forward to a better future for our GREAT Team!!.
Spring has Sprung !!...
God's in his heaven, and all's right in the
World !..(of Accrington Stanley !).

Alfred.E. says that this is nowt but an exercise in naivety..but it is SPRING !!

:) Nice to read one of your posts again yonmon the forum hasn't been the same my friend,As you say spring is in the AIR and lets all hope that STANLEY use this rich vain of form as a SPRING board for next season. and as you say ON STANLEY ON :)

This I find hard to believe of you of all 'posters' on our Forum TM !...but as you will have noted, I only take off on one of my verbal marathons now and again and do tend to make the most of the opportunity when it presents itself !.
But wouldn't you agree with the general thrust of my thread..that with a new Spring has blossomed a new hope for 'The Red's' and their faithful followers ?.

As we near the 1st April i wonder what April Fool the club will come up with this time! If i remember rightly last year they where going to change the name to Lancashire and move from Accrington! Which some people thought it would not be a bad idea! I await for the news on the Fishy site tomorrow!
