dare to believe

ok so we all thought it was england´s year in 2004, however it wasn´t to be, robbed once again by a bad refereeing decision and another penalty shoot out...

however now we move onto domestic football, and accrington stanley´s assault on the nationwide conference in 2004/05. who dares to believe that this will be our year, a season of conference experience, a strengthened team, and a belief that football is coming home...

...to accrington!

rob

and france lost, our belief in the god of football is restored :-)

I don't see what all the fuss is about.

'Goals' like that are disallowed every weekend in English league football (and other places around the world no doubt).

Re: dare to believe

The best penalty shoot-out I ever saw was one freezing cold night last December. The missed penalty went right over our heads and we turned and watched it roll into the long grass behind the Clayton End. Brilliant. Who cares about Beckham and the rest?
