It was worth the money just for the Grant Goal! Thought we did well, a neutral would have thought we were the ones pushing for a play off place! With a bit of luck we will be next season...........Can always dream1

Just a shame that the players had to leave the pitch immediately, before the fans had a chance to applaud them in the customary end-of-season way. May be the last time we see many of them, so I would have liked an opportunity to show my appreciation of the team.

The players came back on the field for a lap of honour after the fans got off the pitch.

There were only a handful left then, because I waited a while and they hadn't reappeared. In fact that makes it worse, as the majority of fans were leaving once the team had left the pitch.

What a shame/disgrace that a handful of people and children had to spoil it for others.

I'm just going off second hand information from people who waited in hope for the players to come out again.

Once I saw that the players were walking off I buggered off home.

And many people would have stayed if the team had not had to leave the pitch due to people being on it. It's fine saying that we should have stayed, but I didn't think they were going to reappear.

Still, as long as the 'real' fans got to clap then it must be ok? A bit like when the team did a 'lap of honour' with the Conference trophy, but only did 2/3 of the ground and people on the Coppice terrace never got a look in.
