I suppose the rolling 12 month deal is relative to our financial state, but any deal that keeps the two in charge is a good one, it's a sigh of relief for me after hearing the Ternent rumour.

VALAIRIAN 02-05-2009 07:53

Re: John and Jimmy

I think a "Rolling" contract is great :) It stops the "We will have to sit down and talk stuff" and I think O'Neill is on one  Martin O'Neill at Villa that is :D:D But like you said, they are in charge, we just need to sort out who the owner is then we can finally sign up some players :):)

Yep, good news, still hoping that Ilyas is going to be involved somewhere along the line and hopefully Lloydy! Definitely a dream team! :)

Fantastic news - these 2 have achieved a miracle at the club, incredible what they have achieved with limited funds, I'm amazed no other club has come after them before now. Onwards & upwards next season!

Nothing short of what they deserve - so pleased they have signed again...

I don't see why people keep going on about the limited funds. Yes funds have been very tight in recent years, but for the a large proportion of their reign they've been one of the better supplied management teams.

That's like an ostrich's egg.... you can't beat it (unless you've got a really strong arm and whisk) :D

I don't know why you don't try the Black Horse Gaz. It has its own micro brewery. I might even join you for one if you went in there and not in these other dodgy dens. ;)

Just wait until next season when we are in top half of the table playing the same football we have been for most of this season but get in a person who can put 20 goals in a season! He will soon be back saying how good football we are playing this season!

afrikaaner 08-05-2009 17:33

Re: John and Jimmy

I thought this post was set up for people to have a say on how they felt about a certain topic obviously thats not the case,i look back over the last 3 seasons and nothings changed. If the teams been playing good football as some people say then how come that had other teams not had mammoth points deductions then accy would have finished in a lower position than they did.A run of 5 or 6 decent results in my book doesn't make a good season,i don't personally care what other people think of me,i say it as i see it.And before the masses gather to burn me at the stake i don't think coley is good enough to take accy any further, and it seems to me that attendances fell around the same time i decided i had better things to do with my money,as probably did the others who voted with their feet.Don't get me wrong,i want to see accy do better and have players that can take them upwards and onwards and i will be the first to hold my hand up and say i was wrong but i can't see that happening while the present regime is in power at the fes. These are my thoughts and mne alone, they might not go down so well with certain users of this forum but then again thats (Democracy)for you.

Think & post what you want man.....:):)

Just wish people would admit that

a)They liked Accy when we were winning
b) They obviously aren't THAT keen if they can just adopt another club when tings go wrong

Fans who withdraw their £13 a week are just making Coleman's job harder, it impacts his playing budget, which means we lose more games, which means more withdraw their £13, which impacts..... etc etc etc etc etc

Some circle of viciousness that......

Enjoy Eastwood:D I will see you if/when we draw a big team in da cup

Are you seriously suggesting THAT'S a slagging off, Afrikaaner? He hasn't insulted you, he hasn't abused you, he's simply presented a reasoned critique of your point of view that this season has been "crap".

Have a good time at Eastwood, but one thing intrigues me...when they eventually go through a phase when they're not playing very well (as all teams must do, sooner or later) and some other Eastwood fans dare to dispute your views...I wonder who you'll move on to supporting then?

that sure aint a slagging off, i also say what i see/feel n have had quite a few disputes with willie miller, but so what we both want the same thing, just have different thoughts on certain things, so if yer gonna leave fer summat that aint a slagging, yet you seem to think it is. i'll give ya one- yer a tart.

The one day of the year I deliberately dont go to the pub! Nobody wishes anyone happy St Andrews or St Daffyd or whatever so why do we insist on celebrating for Mr Patrick?

now St George ... that's another matter!
