Re: Chester City
:)You've got to feel for the fans in times like this.Does anyone no if Darlington are still going.......
|
Re: Chester City
I was talking with a Darlington fan yesterday and yes, the club are still going at the moment.
He also told me something very interesting, but in order the maintain security and boost my own general sense of self-importance, I couldn't possibly post it on here. :D Chester have been ridiculously run for years and it doesn't come as any surprise. The fact that they made it to the end of the season is more surprising. |

Was it this,TM? Accrington's departing owner Eric Whalley has expressed an interest in working alongside owner Stephen Vaughan at Chester according to the Chester Evening Leader. [Bulls News] Chester City just days away from unveiling new manager - Chester Evening Leader |

Re: Chester City
well ****** me sideways, thats certainly one from leftfield (whatever that means).
Good luck Mr Whalley if that is true. I sincerely wish them both luck. And the Conference board are quaking .... |
Re: Chester City
I thought that this chap Whalley was Stanley "Through and Through":confused: Still think he has a place at Accy and could help us through this period of change....

Re: Chester City
is it a prelude to Coley being their new manager?
Todays Leader - Deva Chat - Chester City Fans Forum ... their chairman is quoted as saying that the new manager has recently won the conference title and can bring 6 players with him. |

Re: Chester City
just reporting what i read Bagpuss!
i hope there is no truth in it, but it was widely thought to be a done deal mid way through last season. I think Coley (and Eric for that matter) would be foolish to even think about going there. |

But Steve Evans would be a great choice, he and Vaughn have a lot in common. :s_pooh: |

Hmm, that MAY be nearer the truth than we would like it to be..............who has been talkin' to the press on an almost daily basis? Who appears to have been doing most of the negotiations with players? Answer :- JB :) I am only speculating, I dont know anything more than you guys (probably less!)...................but its not beyound the realms of possibillity.......is it? |
