League two odds for next season

The bookies have both ourselves and Macclesfield at the longest odds for promotion next season at 16/1 thus making us favourites to go down.

Rotherham look good value at 12/1 to win the league.

I am aware that I have a pessimistic side to my nature (who'd have thought it? ;) ), but things aren't looking good, are they? Assuming that we don't get Charnock and if we lose Procter, Ryan, Arthur, Edwards and Mullin, then that's the backbone of the team gone. How do you rebuild that? It would be hard with a decent budget, but for us it would be virtually impossible.
Filling in gaps with young players, or loanees, is fine, but building a team around them is a major problem.

anyway, we might get loads of kids in and according to Hansen 'you never win owt wi'kids!"

To be honest I've got past worrying about the team/club and have got to a que sera sera stage. The only thing I am really bothered about is whether our self professed rivals - Morecambe, can sneak in under the radar and start poaching our best players. In fairness though Christies Child isn't taken seriously on his own board and nobody else seems to be talking about Jimmy Ryan going to Cockleshell Bay.

Ya but what Hansen didn't realise was what kids they've turned out to be:rolleyes:
