This is his Wiki.......

Never heard of him myself.... Would imagine he is the type of player Coley will have to go for, young and cheap.... Might turn out to be another Ryan.. :)

I think he spent most of last season on loan at Barrow.

Re: Luke Joyce

LT piece today has Stanley hoping to sign Leeds keeper Alan Martin. Also (again) expecting Ryan, Turner and Edwards to sign today. Also links to Matty McNeil , striker at Stockport and nearer a deal for Charnock from Posh. Linking Kempson with areturn as well as Lindfield.

Given his place of birth I wonder if he is Warren Joyce's son, who is Walters son :)

Re: Luke Joyce

Really does sound like a few other clubs were after Luke as well as Dean Winnard, got to be good news that we got their signatures as we won't have been offering "Big Bucks" I wouldn't have thought.... :):)

It is a change to get there before other clubs but its a good indication that we can actually get players to the club even through this bad time!!
I think Luke like Dean will have just wanted first team football and that is what coley will have offered!!

Onwards And Upwards :alright:

Seem like a couple of decent level headed young lads, who will have points to prove and hopefully under the stewardship of Coley & Jimmy can add to the spine of team, follow this up with few more signing on the dotted line and we are getting there.

Re: Luke Joyce

tomorrows Observer has Jimmy Bell quoted as saying that yesterday Jimmy Ryan, Chris Turner and Luke Joyce had signed their contracts.

Also says that Godwin more than likely won't be happening as he hadn't come back to us after the contract offer. With Edwards, Winnard and 'more than likely' Kempson and Charnock competing for the two centre back spots it seems as though we couldn't accomodate another anyway.

Another quote from JB was that if Williams and Cav are found not guilty next month then there will be a place for them at the club.

You're quite right. The thing was though, he hadn't even touched the ball. It had gone straight into the goal from a John Miles shot!!

He was a big shot in non-league (Hyde if I remember correctly), but he's done nothing since.

Not sure anyone else could even begin to fill the shirt Jimmy Bell has had made up. Is he making a come back?
