Re: Cav & Miles

It is sad to see young boy's being shown the door, but surely with only three wins against teams from the lower divisions we cant be expecting
the club to be throwing Pro Contracts at last years youth team.
The first intake included Grant, Murphy and Bell the club must learn from these. it is not compulsory to sign anyone who is not good enough.
There are plenty of talented players being released from top clubs if we feel the need to have fringe players on board. I hope that all of the youngster's who have had their hopes dashed go on to enjoy playing and who knows one or more may come back to haunt us.

Burey was a right winger if i am not mistaken and quite simply was not up to league 2 standard (however, what do I know.... I don't think half of the squad are up to it!).

Only youth players I know who were offered anything were Burton and Ami.....so far I don't know if either accepted their offers.

Yeah I thought Burey was a winger/striker too. A bloody quick one. Shame it hasn't worked out for him.

Yes, national minimum wage £4.77 per hour, pay as you play. Works out at two games a week (3 hours) = £14.31 - grossly overpaid.

It's an absolute disgrace that Cav was offered anything (if true) The only thing I'd offer him is a piece of my mind!
