Clubshop

As nobody else has mentioned it Lee from the clubshop is leaving today and to celebrate from his point of view his entry into the real world he will be having a few beers in the Crown from 3pm today, all welcome I hope.:)

Found Lee to be a good bloke to deal with on the phone - although I suspect he was thoroughly fed up giving excuses as to why orders never seemed to arrive from suppliers till 3 months later. Now we know the reason behind. Good luck Lee, hope your next employer doesn't drop you in impossible situations like Stanley did.

I think you're being very generous.

Lee always made the effort to talk and he always acknowledged people in the shop or around the ground. He’s a top bloke and whatever he’s going to do in life I’m sure he’ll do well, best of luck Lee.

No doubt his leaving will mean a greater burden for someone else at the club.

Good luck Lee, always a happy, smiling and obliging face in the Stanley Shop.... But as they say "The King is dead, long live The King!" So who is taking over the shop????

I vote Macca for the role, if he can fit it in...... :):):)

Not close enough to the bar for him.

This is probably a ploy to close the the shop until the ST vouchers are unvalid:p:p:p

Would be a good idea for the club to have a town centre presence ( a bit more than a couple of shelves in OSSY Mills ). Maybe they could think about renting a space where they could have it manned all day for free, perhaps with another local company who would be willing to do it ;)

What a pity that no-one from the club mentioned it on the fishy site. Best of luck, Lee.

Lee Carter leaves for New Zealand
All at Accrington Stanley would like to wish Stanley Store manager Lee Carter all the best as he leaves for New Zealand after this weekend.

Lee joined the club three years ago from JJB in Accrington, looking after Stanley's outlets at the club, in Oswaldtwistle Mills and also online. During his time with us he has taken on many other roles and has always been happy to get involved in whatever has been thrown at him!

Last week Lee was featured on the Football League website in an article following club employees and their daily work.
