Probably Blackburn and Burnley fans are saying the same thing about playing Stanley.

If push come to shove we could do worse than maybe FC United, would prove decent opposition and I sure would fetch a good following?

FC Utd

Sorry after 5 matches at the FES/Crown and 5 lots of trouble, they've been BANNED!!!

More trouble than they are worth and the police wouldn't allow a police free game with FC involved in our Division

In the main idiots!! ( sweeping statement I know, but true!!)

Err, no, not true. The vast majority of FC fans were fine while their games were played at the Crown. The trouble was caused by the vandals that stayed inside while the game was on, and a few trying to sneak in the ground for free. The fans on the terraces, in the main, were well behaved.

Sorry but that's just not true.
Maybe my experience is of a different fan-run franchise of Manchester United playing their games at the Crown.http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/i...ilies/wink.gif

as part of a larger 'fun day' I always wanted to play all of the local teams on the same day . Bang a load of stuff on around the ground and then play all the other teams in 30 minute spurts throughout the afternoon. Could be a good excercise for all the ridiculous triallists we get as well as giving the away fans a lot more to watch
