NEWS FROM BARNOLDSWICK TOWN
On Wednesday 4th August, Barnoldswick Town will play host to Accrington Stanley (ko. 7.30 pm), in a game to mark the official opening of the new floodlights at the club's Silentnight Stadium.
David O’Neil, Chairman of Accrington Stanley, is a good friend of Barnoldswick Secretary Lynn James and he has promised that Stanley will send a strong team over on the night, containing reserve and youth team players.
Meanwhile, many people will be looking forward to visiting the Silentnight Stadium in the coming season, and Barnoldswick's Peter Naylor has sent in some photos of the ground and clubhouse, to give everyone a taster of the facilities they will find when they make the trip to East Lancashire.
