Re: burnley

No KIPAX pictures on saturday... Will be in London with Stan the monkey for sport relief..... I like friendlies but dont count them.... 2 season not missing a competetive game home or away and will be making this one a hat trick... but dont count missing a friendly as breaking that run :)

Re: burnley

I dont seem to recall beating Burnley in last years pre-season match - I could have been sure the score was 2-2. One thing is for sure - it certainly rained!!!!

Footynut 07-07-2004 13:34

Re: burnley

it was 1-0 to stanley in last pre-seasons friendly, i'm sure of it

Ceejache 07-07-2004 13:35

Re: burnley

Just checked on official site - it was 1-1. Stanley should have won if I remember rightly...then again it was just a friendly. I also remember the Burnley fans being a friendly bunch....ahem.

Footynut 07-07-2004 13:37

Re: burnley

my mistake, just looked on last seasons fixture list and it says they drew 1-1. i was told it was a stanley win, i was on my hols at the time, sorry boout that :)

Ceejache 07-07-2004 13:40

Re: burnley

No worries...I was just doubting my memory!

Unfortunately I can't go this Saturday due to financial shortcomings - even though it's Burnley I'd rather save my cash for Burton Albion etc.

Re: burnley

You need to calm down lad. Stanley haven't even played any friendlies yet, so keep asking for scores is a bit pointless.

Look at the official site. It will tell you everything about the fixtures and the results. Find it at: www.accringtonstanley.co.uk

KIPAX 08-07-2004 20:16

Re: burnley

he has already been pointed to the fixtures on the stanley website in another thread where he asked what the score was against wolves.

maybe he will take more notice of you TM :)

Haha, nice one, Kipax! :D

Ceejache 10-07-2004 09:50

Re: burnley

Don't tell me you haven't heard that one before SAS?! Try the BBC 606 board - every reference to Man Utd is termed Man Ure...so much so that the mods are thinking of banning its use!

Re: burnley

unfortunatly I can't make it. :(

Come on lads, show them what you are made of!!!!!

2-1 to Stanley

Just to set the record straight, Ceejache, I have never visited and never will visit a Manchester United messageboard. And, slater_scott, I think people will know that he was on about me considering we dont know your middle name.

Ceejache 11-07-2004 17:24

Re: burnley

Weren't getting at you mate just couldn't believe you hadn't heard it before. There are many 606 boards and the term is used on every single one when Salford United are mentioned. I wasn't accusing you of visiting a Man Utd MB, although there isn't anything wrong with doing so if you had to be honest!
