Season ticket buyers have had a letter notifying them of the event but I'm a life member and haven't had a letter and nor have others I know.

Have we been forgotten?

Will the "Lifers" turn up only to be met by puzzled expressions?

Watch this space.

I won't be able to make tonight as I am still recovering from illness, is it still ok for me to pick it up before the first home match? would it be from the shop?

I thought it went well. A good number of people there. Plenty of players signing autographs, which is just the sort of thing to encourage the kids. I even thought the tickets themselves were more professionally produced. All good signs for the future.

Would agree with TM. Whoever planned the 'event' should be given credit. Plenty of staff and players in attendance and a good chance to have a chinwag with other fans before the big ko. In spite of the majority of press and pundits who have us as favourites for the drop, the folk I spoke to were cautiously optimistic and looking forward with anticipation and this event built on that. Well played
