Hope so, too. Reckon he deserves it more than any Stanley player in recent history. Testimonials aren't usually well-attended at Stanley (sometimes embarrassingly so), but Paul's so well-regarded that I reckon most of the 900-1,000 loyalists would turn up.

Too true Wyn!...I for one would be there...with Bells on !!, and Alfred.E. wouldn't miss it for anything, being a devoted fan of the great Paul !!.

Incidentally, like so many more of his admirers on our forum, I wish Paul all the luck for his continuing career with 'the Shrimps'. A real Footballer, and a Gentleman to boot!.

'What me worry?'....Not just yet!.

I guess we'll have to buy some decent light bulbs with John looking like he's going to have to retire.

I suppose Paul playing for Morecambe will have sorted out the opposition for his testimonial.

And does this open the door for Craig Lindfield?

And thanks, Paul, for everything you've done for Stanley. I always wanted to see you playing in the league. Nine years ago, I never imagined that you would do it in a Stanley shirt.

i like this post on Shrimpsvoices tonight

Mullin is great in the air, which means that it is often too tempting for our defence to launch it towards him
oh well
