Re: SOS Accrington Stanley -v- Burnley FC

we have some resever players in1 about 4,00 fans about 100 stanley fans who were singing we love you burnley and only one owen coyle! updates can be found at

Burnley FC forum from footymad.net

squad is

Starting with Accrington Stanley: Martin; Lloyd, Kempson, Ami, Murphy; Miles, Proctor, Melow, Turner; King, McConville. Subs: Dunbavin, Symes, Black/Riley, Joyce/Grant, Richardson.

Burnley: Penny; Easton, Edgar, Duff, Eckersley; Guerrero, McDonald, Eagles; Rodriguez, Thompson, Nugent. Subs: McDonald, Anderson, Harvey, Wes Fletcher, Hoskin.

There appears to be about 4,000 fans on tonight. Some good noise being made with chants of "We love you Burnley" and "There's only one Owen Coyle" coming from the Accrington Stanley fans in the David Fishwick stand.

A big thank you to Burnley Express and ClaretsLive, enjoy the coverage for the bit I got to see; I will be following Burnley’s progress after this gesture; fantastic turnout for a wet night in a East Lancs Town. One for the history books of both Clubs and their Townships.

On Stanley On.

According to Burnley site approx 1,000 from Accy. Pity I was working till late otherwise would have gone but 4-0 does not put us to shame and a decent crowd as well. Thank you Owen Coyle and Burnley FC.

The result never mattered, fantastic night, great turnout! Ultras in fine voice, as Grimps said good to see some old faces.

Massive Thank You to the Burnley Fans and all at BFC who worked so hard to get this fixture on for us:)

CHEERS.:) will never be forgotten.

Posted via Mobile Device Had a fab time, really good atmosphere, fine performance from the accy crew, burnley were excellent hosts and joined in despite the result. Coley was a great sport donning the official sos shirt. Great show of support even at the end being a bit stranded outside turf moor we got a show of support of pipping horns passing us by. A nice touch from the ultra's leaving a banner saying thank u clarets at the away exit.

we all were, but thats life, spoke to a good few burnley fans before n after the game, ALL wished stanley sucess in there fight, general opinion of em was were all from this neck of the woods n would be a tragedy if stanley were to fold, was a good gate given the short notice n weather.;)

Re: SOS Accrington Stanley -v- Burnley FC

At least you lot let us win instead of doing a Bury on us, taking the money and a win :D

Was a strange night, a home fan going on the away fans coaches and sitting in the away end :) Had a good laugh listening to the Ultras.

CASHY!!.I've offered up my sincerest vote of thanks elsewhere ..but feel it might be remiss of me if I didn't mention the fact that it was good to see..
1)...The looks of sheer joy on the faces of John Coleman and Jimmy Bell at the end of the game.....if they felt as happy as they looked ...WELL they deserved to share such elation !( Some have criticized them in the past you know!). and:-
2) The D'ON and other Stanley'luminaries' joining the Ultras and the rest of us on the terrace in the second Half. I hope that they picked up the mood of the Fans, and that this will strengthen their resolve to do the right and proper things over the next few weeks to ensure that the Club stays in existence !...some still doubt this fact you know !.

See you on Friday mate !!....''ON STANLEY!...ON!'

Still waiting confirmation me thinks T.M........I've been looking on and off all afternoon.

Re: SOS Accrington Stanley -v- Burnley FC

With average ticket price being £7.50 and an attendance of 5,301 the gate receipts would be £39,757.50ish. There were a lot of concessions on last night but you can also add on the money from the match programme sales. Are we going to have a 'guess the Burnley money' thread? :D
