Tomorrow's Accy Observer reports that the meeting between Ilyas Khan and Peter Marsden took place this week (doesn't give date) in London. Quote 'Marsden was tight lipped about the negotiations'

Anything from Mr. Khan or the ASSF camp.

We all know that these things are delicate and that people won’t want to be misquoted or second guessed, but that catchy little word “Transparency” should mean that the event is noted and a summery of the proceedings/outcome are made public.

Why should they be made public?....don't you think that far too much of our dirty washing is already hanging on the public washing line?...Perhaps the ASSF should review it's origin charter, fund raising I thought it was, however the comments in the press aren't helpful to our common cause......The survival of Stanley??????:o

origin charter? I take this to mean our raison d'etre or reason for existence?

simply to ensure the survival of our club

todays telegraph no link yet available

meeting went well

Marsden was there in his personal capacity as a director rather than as a representative of the club

details have not been disclosed

"some very harmonious dialogue and we saw eye to ey on numeorus things" Marsden

"we want to work together to help the club" Khan

thats it in a nutshell with the addition of some more confirmation that the accounts for last year have been sent off

All I can add Wyn is my favourite Musical Instruction.....

'MOLTO SOSTENUTO STANLEY !'.....Keep it going!!

( Alfred.E. adds...'Make no little plans; they have no magic to stir men's blood and probably will themselves not be realized. Make big plans; aim high in hope and work, remembering that a noble, logical strategy once recorded will not die!'.
...and he should know!!!)

'ON STANLEY ON !!...and let the echoes ring out above the Crooked Spire tomorrow!!

I forgot my p.s Wyn which reads...

Quelle est-elle faisant ? ? ?.....la belle Marcelle ??????...any news regarding the distaff element within the SOS equation ??....That of course is tempered by remembering the memorable exploits of the Divine Diane ...who is the epitomy of all that is good about being a fan of 'THE REDS!'..!! ..Can I utter a belated vote of thanks for her efforts!.... VIVA ACCYMAD!! ...

(Alfred.E. tells me that he too is a Male Chauvinist Pig...and Mrs Neumann has given him permission to be one!!)

i do find it encouraging that we have at least heard mention of our vice-Chairman.

I dont think any of us knows Mr Marsden and I probably wouldn't recognise him, so it is good to hear that he isn't just someone who has an 'on paper' affiliation with the club and does actually want to do something for us.

Please let us hear more Mr Marsden, your public awaits....

I think that in the past (EW era) Mr. Marsden put quite a bit of money into Stanley

And hopefully the hidden quantity and catalyst which will not only fire 'The Joint-Chairmen and Board' into the proper and correct actions necessary for the Club's survival, but will also bring an end to the uncertainty which surrounds the whole affair!!

'SOSTENUTO MOLTO !!!...keep it going!!'

Story now up and running...

Accrington Stanley vice chairman happy with Khan meeting (From Lancashire Telegraph)

Sounds promising, although no specifics mentioned. Let's hope they can build on that! :)

Get this Mab!!!......

(Alfred.E. says briefly!....I really enjoy the song "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen, both the original and the Rufus Wainwright remake, but can you help me with some lyric interpretation in case someone asks "what the hell was all that about?")
We've both had our medication so it's ZZZZZZZ time for us now!!
