Re: This weeks Observer
“Dave is doing the day-to-day running of the club and he brought me in to raise the profile of the club and the brand,” said Lazarus.

What more can be said about a woman with the perspicacity of an Amoeba ??..
with the abilities and application to match !!

( Alfred .E. did have a 'thing' about her decolletage though!!)

Thanks UKC, but I was just thinking.... perhaps Marcelle hasn't gone for good, but rather she will return in a few days time, just like her namesake? ;)

Ilyas hasn't saved the club yet he's only guaranteed it. However I agree with you as he probably will save Stanley he should be thanked by being made chairman with immediate effect although I'd like to see Rob Heys stay after Ilyas's comments about him.

Alfred.E. will you shut up please about her Decolletage !!....Stanleymad might not approve of us keeping abreast of the siuation in such an upfront manner !!!...and leave that highlighting key alone as well !!!..and Henry Morton won't appreciate all those exclamation marks either !!!!!

Sorry TM....Medication taken now!....back to normal (Whatever 'normal' is!!)

sorry but do you think we would still have a club,if ilyas n peter marsden had not turned up on wednesday? if the answer is yes then they saved the club as it would be extinct now. MrT who IMHO is one of the very few honest guys confirms this. after ilyas comments on rob heys, i take the view that as mr khan n mr marsden are actually bailing the club out, i'm sure they have no wish to continue to do so, also i'm of the opinion that they know far more than any of us on rob heys actions or his restrictions, so therefore given a proper chairman who "IS" honest n transparent, i am inclined to say let Rob Heys prove himself under that regime, i can always accept a view of someone i trust, so therefore what ilyas says on that score is good enough fer me.

Ms Lazarus has behaved correctly.

She has not waited to be pushed, she has not hung on for any payment which might be her due.

She has clearly stated that these shenanigans were not what she signed up for.

And she's gone. She should be respected for that.

Can't anybody in Accrington speak decently about other people these days?

What's happened to the good people of the football club I love?

Some of you would be more at home in Paris in 1789, knitting and watching the tumbrils arrive.

That is so' HM '!!....and if I for one, however cynically and tongue-in-cheek it was intended, have appeared to behave in a boorish and ungentlemanly manner towards Ms.Lazarus, then I apologise !.

Thanks for the admonition !...no more cheap jibes at the Lady from my alter-ego and myself....!

'ON STANLEY...ON!!...TO GREATER THINGS !!!'

ps...Love your allusion to the French Revolution...Touche !!
