Re: Lazarus Gone
O'Neill has so far resisted calls from fans to resign.
:( shame |
Re: Lazarus Gone
What exactly did she bring to the club?
|
Re: Lazarus Gone

Re: Lazarus Gone
Hardly a shock, whatever her plusses/minuses feel she has been used at a critical time. Have been trying to make sense of last Weds n since, n ended up wi these thoughts! (1) why was ilyas n mr marsden told lies about our debt prior to court entry? (2) was the intention of our glorious leaders to have the club wound up? (3) would if the case- that be a chance to deflect critism onto other people/ or reasons fer lack of capital? (4) Why has there been no explanation or statement since last weds? (5) are ilyas n mr marsden now the "baddies" in the eyes of o'neil n heys? (6) why have the club "Not" publicly thanked those 2 fer saving it? all we have heard in that direction is "Impossible to say"!:(7) would there be any financial sense in my thinking to our leaders? am sure someone with more business acumen than i,can answer that one. i may be totally off the wall wi these musings, but can't see anything else at the moment.

Re: Lazarus Gone
"It wasn't what I thought it would be", she says. What exactly did she expect? Did she not sell enough mobile phones? Did David O'Neill not tell her what to expect? After all, he did appoint her.

"brought in to raise the clubs profile" ....... certainly that has happened.... protests/vigils on sky sports news, appearances in the high court, articles in national press..... cant get much more high profile....
back to the carphone warehouse on monday no doubt:rolleyes: |

Re: Lazarus Gone
I don't think we'll know the full extent of the **** that has gone on at that club for years yet. I know Mr Khan said that there aren't any conspiracies, but what Cashy posted isn't exactly far-fetched. Why would David O'Neill go to court without the necessary amount of money, when he knew the club would be wound up? He didn't even ask Mr Khan for money as he has done before. I think there's still something very sinister to come out.
Sorry, back to thread. Thank ****. One down. |

Re: Lazarus Gone
I think it was all a smoke screen when don initially took over running of the club at the 1st fans forum .............to make us all beleive things were improving & actually wasnt & to take the emphasis off sort of thing
|
Re: Lazarus Gone
No great loss, what did she do exactly?? If she was being paid then it's another few quid saved.

What more can be said about a woman with the perspicacity of an Amoeba ??.. with the abilities and application to match !! ( Alfred .E. did have a 'thing' about her decolletage though!!) |

Re: Lazarus Gone
Ms Lazarus has behaved correctly.
She has not waited to be pushed, she has not hung on for any payment which might be her due. She has clearly stated that these shenanigans were not what she signed up for. And she's gone. She should be respected for that. Can't anybody in Accrington speak decently about other people these days? What's happened to the good people of the football club I love? Some of you would be more at home in Paris in 1789, knitting and watching the tumbrils arrive. |

Bon voyage, Marcelle
|
Re: Lazarus Gone
Good riddance, though at least she had the sense to jump before the push!
|
Re: Lazarus Gone
Quote:
As for the hapless Marcelle, her intentions were probably good, but she was obviously totally unsuited for the role. The fact that she got the job in the first place says a lot about the judgement of the person who appointed her! |

Would like D'ON to walk now. Rob can stay, after all he does for the club he has been a loyal servant and was only doing his job at the end of the day. |

I think we are all allowed to take the mickey out of somebody that, best intentions apart, was a mere blip in the history of Accrington Stanley....
On a football forum it should be expected.... Now "Coleman Out" is another story....(And has been uttered many times on here in the past!) Where have all these people gone??????? |
Re: Lazarus Gone
Coley out!!!
bloody sick of it - the club is sorting itself out and the team are playing well! what on earth is there to moan about now? Its all Johns fault!!!!!! |
Re: Lazarus Gone
Funny that the people that wanted EW out was the same people that wanted DON to take charge! Then want him out!
Whats the excuse for Ilyas? |
Re: Lazarus Gone

Re: Lazarus Gone
Unfortunately DON was the only alternative to him that cannot be named and we still haven't got rid of him. Until we do I don't think we will find out the true debt of the Club, so the sooner he goes the better.
