Lets look at the facts.

EW has a history and a public profile of being stubborn and ignorant beyond common buisness sense.
O'neill by rejecting the ASSF offer has a history of being selfish in terms of wanting to retain personal control and status over the best interest of the club.
The other directors have shown they are not interested in putting anymore money into the club.

Which leaves one question.
Iyls Khan. I have the upmost respect for you, I do not question your intellegence one bit.
But I have one major problem with you bailing out the club on an unconditional offer.

You are being used and it stinks.
Your promise to bail out the club and love for the club is being abused by EW and o'neill who can rely on the fact that at the last minute you will always step in and save the club you love.

I think this is horrible, infact I would go as far as calling it a form of blackmail.

I hate to see a bloke being emotionally blackmailed.

So as daft as this seems, part of me hopes you dont step in last minute and bail out the idiots.
Because when you do, the people who profit financially from your amazing gesture are the same people who are involved in the club for selfish ambition.

Will I miss the league football - massivly.
Will I miss the stadium - hugely.
Will the lowest reaches of non league football and fund raising to start up a new club be demorialising - of course.

But I dont want to see EW, Oneill or Heys benefit from one penny of your money.
And that is what an unconditional offer will do.

So if you decide enough is enough and refuse to bail out the liars and deceivers, then I will support you 100%

So please, consider your actions and negotiate from a position of power. Hopefully EW and O'neill will realise it is better to recieve a penny than to lose a pound and sell up.

I understand the sentiment & also think the same way you do in certain points.

But save the club , then work to rid anyone with personal interest at heart....

I would agree. Anything that bails out the current incumbents would seem to me a waste of money. Best save your cash for the resurrection.

Its disgraceful and they need to be driven out so they have no option to sell for a reasonable price minus the bail out money. Its their masterplan and it has stunk all along and alot have been blinded by the whole saga and have been led by the pied piper from the start, but many smelt a rat from the start, Mr khan did even before o'neil supposedly took over. They have abused everyones trust and lied to everyone.

Jase I agree mate.
But all they are interested in is themselves.

This whole episode is destroying my sleep pattern. Ive grown to love this club and consider it my main team.
But I dont want to see the current ownership/directorship gain a penny.
This is driving me crazy.

Mr. Khan if you do read this, please dont take it the wrong way.
I am not questioning your intellegence; I just dont want to see a decent bloke get screwed over.

What a cracking post, this has crossed my mind on several occasions, Ilyas I know your not stupid and you have gone into this with your eyes wide open but if you feel enough is enough who could blame you, I for one would not like to see you line the pockets of these two(and I use the term lightly) gentlemen, they in my opinion have taken the micky out of the fans of ASFC and also you and Peter
If it all go,es pear shaped on Wednesday I would as many others would I feel back you 100% in the resurection of the club in whatever form and even though my heart tells me one thing my head tells me that you should keep you hands firmly on your wallet.

If they are that stubborn they will probably not budge from their present stance...however I, like many cannot understand what they gain by this stance.......

By seeing the club go under they stand to gain NOTHING....

They only lose their initial investements.....If anything........ Forget being banned from being from being directors of any other company...,that may or may not apply.... I don't think they'll have any sort of liability for A.S.F.C if the club goes belly up on Wednesday, Unless of course the official who winds up the club uncovers wrong-doing...........

As fans, we lose the club, as a football league club...

Better all involved in this shambles,fall on their collective swords and hope that messrs Khan & Marsden can come up with the goods to avert the immediate and impending disaster.

Spot on!!

I have thought from day one that EW and DON have played a very canny game trying to get the debt cleared and still being left with the majority of ownership.

Mr.Khan is a true fan but may only delay the inevitable.

We need this situation to be resolved from top to bottom.

IF MR KHAN CLEARS THE DEBT AND THE CLUB SURVIVES WE MUST HAVE A NEW BOARD, NEW SHAREHOLDING STRUCTURE..........A NEW CLUB!!

The only problem, Jiff, is that if Stanley are saved so is EW. He will remain the owner, and no-one's been able to change anything where it needs changing; in the boardroom.
