I am not going to be able to post on the bulletin board till much later in the afternoon (likely after 5pm). I am very much aware of all the interest - indeed I would be no different in your shoes.

There was no contact last night from oneil. Peter and I decided we had no choice but to wait till today. The timetables are now very tight. Even if cash is to get across to HMRC, the club is dependant upon their good will to drop the deadlines for tomorrow morning payment. As you know, in reality, a deadline of tomorrow morning means payment today, and as anyone who has dealt with money transfers knows, things can slip.

I appreciate and applaud all the posts on accy web. I dont regret for one minute being open and transparent and will continue today as well. I would ask that you please moderate your language, and avoid personal abuse. Its possible to express feelings without stooping to the level of behaviour shown by certain other people, and this forum is too important to risk it being shut down.

Finally, my intentions are TO KEEP FIGHTING. I know full well that putting more cash into the club may help certain shareholders, but frankly, the equity is worthless right now. the club owes so much debt, that an equity owner is powerless unless he can put up cash to pay off creditors. also, i subscribe to the view that the club is bigger than any single individual, so keeping it alive and afloat matter more than petty personal vendettas.

Again, I repeat, I will not be able to post until later this evening, so please do not thing silence is a lack of interest or a lack of progress. Its a new day, lets enter it hopeful and enthusiastic.

Your dedication to Accrington Stanley , the fans,our town etc goes beyond belief. Thanks is to small a word to use Ilyas and Peter , grateful to you both. If we do go down now everyone intersted in the club as done their best and yourselves that extra mile.

You could leave them under our stairs with me and our kids. While Stanleymad is trying to moderate the forum at the moment we found it's the safest place to be :D

the past few days I just haven't been able to post as really don't know what to say or on the flip side would have too much to say and I think stanley mad is doing a sterling job without me making it harder :rolleyes:

I have even got to the stage where I click on accyweb and almost look through the forum through gaps in my fingers like I did when I was a kid watching Dr Who..

This whole debacle has left me speechless tbh

and many who know me... would not believe that :(

Thank you Ilyas and Peter for all you have done and are still doing to save the club, like many on this forum, the events of the last couple of months have left me speechless too! The arrogance and contempt shown by the current 'owner' (whoever it may truly be) to the fans who have done so much to save the club is unforgivable. We all have memories that we cherish of happy times spent at the Crown, watching all those matches with my son, when Andy Gouck scored the winner against Huddersfield in the FA Cup, the win over Bournemouth on penalties in the FA cup on that freezing Monday night.......... The club means so much to so many and yet so little to the people who have got us in this mess. So sincere best wishes Ilyas and again thank you for keeping the dream alive!
