FA Cup First Round
 

Historically these games have been nightmares for me. I tend to become a nervous wreck about a week before the game, and a quivering pool of jelly on the morning itself.

However, I look forward to the games with an intensity that belies my years, and this year is no different.

Wow, i would not like to get on the wrong side of you lot ! I really meant what I said. See you at the ground on saturday. Lets make sure we get a huge crowd, and really get behind the boys. And Stanley Mad, you can buy me a glass of red wine after the game.

Chaps. There is a lot to digest, and i am sure you will have many questions. Please may I make an important request. Can we please now display solidarity and support for the club and the team. Today's result would not have been possible without the active and positive participation of David O'Neil and Rob Heys. David has been under intense pressure, and I think he deserves credit. Just as I criticised him for his past actions which I disagreed with, so I must thank him for playing his part.

Also, be aware that the club paid approx £52,000 of that debt today. I paid the rest. this means its not ALL me.

I finish by thanking you all, and by repeating my hope that we get such a bumper crowd on saturday that the cheers and the stanley roar are heard back in the high courts in London !!

Good lord am I gonna enjoy footy training tonight with the ladies team!!! The feeling of relief is most liberating and totally energizing!!! I apologise to our girls in advance!!!:o:rolleyes:

So pleased for Coley, Jimmy and the lads and also people like Mick Schultz who have been through the emotional ringer over their jobs in recent weeks. Hopefully this will allow everyone who works for the club a new start and a new lease of life. :)

all representative of the sad cases from 'big club syndrome' who loved us until the moment that this pathetic sorry arsed tiny club started to whup arse on the field. They can come up with whatever numpty excuses they want - they don't like it up em and thats the truth. hello Nick. that article later carried a small retraction. the quote was "i own shares in accrington stanley", which got printed as "i own accrington stanley". the rest of the article is still valid though - i am madly emotional about anything lancastrian !

The rain seems to be coming Friday; Saturday is sunny intervals. Anyone who has a brolly should spend Friday night on the pitch to keep the rain off.
