Weather for Tuesday?
 

Anyone know how the pitch is looking for Tuesday night?

After the last 72 hours, us Scots have learned more about Cockermouth (and Cumbria in general) than we have ever learned about our own towns!

Quick look at map indicates its a good 2 hrs away from Accy so I'm hopeful game will be on - just worried when I read about pitch having probs & experts being called in.

Accommodation booked and pre and post match pub crawls already mapped out - I'm hoping someone can now confirm that we're likely to see a game when we're down there!

We are due for heavy rain tommoz [according to the weather peeps] its more a question of whether the already standing water is drained sufficiently ... but as always goes down to referee's decision at the end if should chance it.

pitch looks very good .and we have a new watersucker at the club .its like they use at cricket grounds

I heard the new watersucker was a number of buckets and towels to mop up standing water on the pitch. Whatever the case may be, lets hope tomorrows game is on, coz I have missed out recently due to illness:o

Been leatherin it down today hopefully has no effect, also looking at forecast earlier it says heavy rain tomorrow but the weather aint always right as everyone knows

My sources state that the match will be on providing there isn't another heavy downpour between now and kick off. BTW before anyone asks, my sources are the caterers who inform us how many peeps to bring for the catering vans and they get there info from none other than Mick Schultz. So there - sources named and shamed.

just got back from stanley . just finnished putting away gates on with stanley conver and over thing. help out with buzzer on pitch too very wet in sum places but on so for as of 2pm that all i can say
