Viscous Rumour

Bobby Grant has gone to Derby for 50k.

Does anyone know any better?

:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Would be very upset if he has.

Officially he can't have gone anywhere for 50k, can only go on loan until 1st Jan.

Re: Viscous Rumour

Well my friend (rochfail fan) has said there has been a lot of rumours coming out of Accy that Bobby Grant has gone for 50k to Derby, he said even Coleman hasn't denied it. However I can't find anything, so far, to prove this.

Viscous? Really? :D

I would imagine that the club is in a position to turn down a bid of £50k.

Think they missed a 0 of that figure, but in all seriousness, stay with Stanley Bobby, at least here you will get first team experience and keep banging in them goals but for goodness sake, keep your hands by your sides please.

Re: Viscous Rumour

Same hope he does the same as what Turner did, and sign a 2 year deal if he gets offered one! He will get first team experience every game if he keeps going the way he his, he is playing brillant this season, linked well with symes and took his opportunites well.

grant 11 on the back of my new stanley shirt!

Re: Viscous Rumour

I think for most clubs Mr. Grant will still be an unknown quantity, I would think it would be a massive gamble for both Derby to sign a player still relatively unproven and for Mr. Grant in terms of perhaps leaving his comfort zone while he is still learning the game.

I think the one that most clubs will looking at will be Mr. Symes

I would like to see them both carry forth the Stanley Torch at least till the end of the season and see where it get's us:)

Re: Viscous Rumour

Grant has a two year deal.

My only advice to young Bobby would take me back to when Gary Roberts left for Ipswich. Cpley said at the following fans forum that had Gary bided his time a little more he would have got £5k a week extra! Gary has done reasonably well for himself but a high flying Cardiff wanted at the time and an auction would have occured if he had waited it out rather than take the first offer his agent presented. Stanley and Roberts would have profited

Re: Viscous Rumour

I would take 50-75k loan fee. If he can prove himself at championship level his price and interest will substancially rise, if not we get him back in Jan.

Doesn't sound to have a very high viscosity.:D:D:D
