This Saturday's Matchday Club

I see that from 3pm to 5pm this Saturday the kids get to "watch the players perform in their FA Cup Second Round fixture v Barnet"
Accrington Stanley
This was actualy put on the fishy site on Friday 4th December. It's not like Stanley to be in front of themselves.

Quote:

Winstanley's Matchday Club will again run this Saturday (5th December) for our League 2 fixture against Torquay Utd.

The club, which is designed for 5-12 year olds, encourages boys and girls to come and enjoy the match at The Crown Ground in a safe and fun environment. Winstanley will be in attendance of the full day, showing off his football skills at St Christophers and enjoying the match sat alongside the children.

All your child will need is a packed lunch, sports kit along with a soft drink and a change of warm clothing and it is still priced at only £10 per child (£9 for all ASFC Redz members). The schedule for the day is:

  • 1pm- 2pm: Drop your child off for an hour of football skills, drills and games in the Sports Hall @ St Christophers High School, BB5 4AY.
  • 2pm- 2:20pm: Escorted to The Crown Ground as a walking bus
  • 2:20pm- 2:40pm: Packed Lunch
  • 2:40- 3pm: Take in the sights of The Crown Ground on a matchday. Enjoy the thrills, atmosphere and experience along with receiving a FREE Matchday Programme. Meet the players and staff along with an autograph session with the first team.
  • 3pm- 5pm: Watch the players perform in their FA Cup Second Round fixture vs Barnet.
  • 5pm: Collect your child from Turnstile WX03

Looks like the fishy site needs a good proof reader. According to it the last match result was Burton 0
Stanley 1!! It has been corrected after a nudge.

they also put the advert for the new kit on stating 40 and 25, which quickly changed to 40 and 30 after someone pointed out that the online shop had the kids ones at 30!!

There appears to be a lot of nice touches from the football club of late, a new broom etc etc seems to have done the trick.
