...or, better still, build a roof over the Coppice End and let us have that!

Like ive said, yes i agree the stewarding was over the top but the inital problem in the 1st half was that far to many people where crammed into 1 section of seats, blocking the exits etc etc. We can get away with it at League 2 grounds but what we have to remember is that Elland Road and Leeds United wont put up with blatant overcrowding.

Too weedy to be a bouncer?

Too thick to be a copper?

THEN STEWARDING IS FOR YOU!!!

There was no need for the heavy handed brutality dished out by LUFC's stewards on Tuesday towards loyal and innocent fans. Stewards laughing at us on the car pak for being thrown out as well is also diabolical, and as Lee says, the "Can we just have a quiet word" or with me "Can I just check your ticket" is downright deceitful and disgusting. Even the police admitted they ar e a disgrace and only target the smaller clubs. As one copper said "The stewards are nowhere to be seen when it's Millwall, they leave it all to us."

The FA continue with this perverse drive to take football away from the working man, transform it into a middle class, cricket esque atmosphere!!!

"I say old chap, jolly good goal by Symes wasn't it. Hand me the cheese knife old boy."

What should have been the most glorious night in ASFC's recent history ruined by some shiny suited barbarians!!!

You will have to hope you never get promoted if you think the stewarding at Leeds is bad.

Stwearding is a like refereeing, you never get consistency and the decisions always favour the big clubs

Interesting comment given that Stanleys stewards are NVQ trained & qualified. I am currenly along with several others working on NVQ 3 level. Nothing I saw at Leeds met NVQ criteria, from a fellow supervising steward, their actions were atrocious. I personally put a complaint in at half too via one of our local police spotters & also spoke to several Leeds Police who commented that Leeds stewards were over the top & re Millwall as others have mentioned. The main problem is that Leeds employ this firm to "steward" on their behalf and they have a "reputation" Quote.
Yes the requirements for a league ground are for seating to be used but using more stewards than we have at home games for the whole ground on Accy fans plus the two black coats spoilt the game and occasion for th many of you fans and me too. I was made aware of one steward swearing at a fan and chastised another who swore with me close enough to hear. At least one was reported to their supervisor who did deal with the steward. Stewarding is primarily a customer service focus, I saw very little evidence of this from these personel-being polite! Personally I would not employ any of the crew I saw on the night to work under me. All respect to Leeds police who were customer friendly in comparison.
Any complaints do need to be addressed to Leeds United football club as it was their ground and send by registered post. The more of you that do given how many complained to me, the more Leeds will have to take note.
Note this is based on my personal view on being present at the game & not a club statement and I am not condoning standing in seated areas. Hopefully after experiencing Leeds stewards, I consider our lads do a first class job, and trust you may respect the way we act at Stanley & why we have won a family friendly stadium award.

Re: The 'Stuffing of Leeds' match thread.

This is from LUFC's 'customer charter' (sic)
The club actively welcomes feedback from our customers both positive and negative.
We believe that this helps us to deliver an improved and more effective service to you the customer. To make a complaint or comment please follow these steps:
1. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the service received, you should initially inform our customer service representatives in the department relevant to your complaint/comment who will log your call and provide an initial response within 48 hours and a full response within
five working days.
2. If you remain dissatisfied after the department response you should inform us of your grievance in writing to Customer Services, Leeds United, Elland Road, Leeds, LS11 0ES. Customer Services will investigate your complaint personally to reach a solution that is mutually satisfactory. A
response will be issued within five working days of receipt of your complaint.
3. If you still believe your complaint should receive further attention then you can write to the clubs Chief Executive Shaun Harvey at Leeds United, Elland Road, Leeds, LS11 0ES, detailing your complaint and the reasons for your continued grievance. You will receive an initial response within 48
hours and a full response within 10 working days. Similarly we would like to hear from you if you have any suggestions as to how we can improve our service or are pleased with the service that we currently provide.
But given the vitriol from Leeds' own fans about its (ba)stewards (and the fact that nothing seems to have improved), it might be best to just accept that a club that employs thugs is probably run by thugs, and be glad you don't have to support it..
