Would that be the Mullin playing for us or the Mullin playing against us?

Just back cracking day out,I have never seen so much passion from JC, JB and the players at the end of a game, to be honest the shrimps did not start playing till we were 2 up and we did the usual foot off the pedal stuff, mullers was well handled by Kempson while he was on the pitch the other bonus was Jevons going off, really we should have had about four and only a smart save by roache kept Bobby Grants long range free kick out.Bring on Bury now and the Gills in the cup we have the beating of them both. ON STANLEY ON

Those idiots want to take a trip to The Crown Ground if they want to see Teams being "Kicked of the park" - Daggers/Ballmouth, to name but two and as for weak officials!!!! I would love to have some proper refs at our matches... We are playing some of the best footy we have played in years, yet still no credit???  :) Still never mind, Gills got beaten at home today and they have the short journey to Exeter - we won it on Sky - on Monday, let's just hope that St. James Park is playable and very very tiring on those legs :D :D :) Let's also hope that the M5/M6 are snarled up and they do not make it home until the early hours of the 29th :D :D

ON STANLEY ON - TO THE 4th ROUND  :)

well they will know that it will be a rough game , thats one thing for sure!

A team of all-in wrestlers who use elbows and shirt pulling and amazingly the ref missed most of it and yet gives a penalty for a tackle that took the ball but the player knew how to con the ref.
What a pity we didn't have a decent ref today.
Both our strikers subbed with injuries, Coleman certainly did his homework.

I just want to say a personal thank you to our "Lucky Mascot" Colmeister!!! If I am not wrong that is 4 out of 4 for him... Macc, Exeter and Crewe at home and now Morecambe away!!!! He has had the offer of accomadation sent his way by Harwood Red and myself to ensure that he gets to more games, as having to travel from Glasgow, he does not make it to too many matches in a season - Me and Macca had to spend a night with him in The Crown, the other week when the Macc match was called off, still we got a free pie out of it!! Just hope that he can make it to 1 or 2 more this season and keep up his good run!! Cheers Col, all the best for the New Year!!!!

Sorry MR, that sounds a little bit sour!! I did not go myself, but after talking to at least 2 at the game, plus looking at the stats - WE WERE THE BETTER TEAM!! :) You have just come off the back of a fantastic run, be happy with that, I am sure that you will be in the mix come May, Sammy has you playing well and two months ago, when you had 14 points, you would have been happy to be where you are today! :)

That's nowt, we didn't lose for my first 34 games. Admittedly that was in the Unibond and the Conf but did include a lot of away matches after our horrific 5-1 defeat by Gateshead (how far we've come). First defeat was Telford 5-1 and since then have only seen approx 4 defeats in 80 games!!!

Beat that:p:p:p

What an ace performance!!

Loved it when first goal went in, and the whole win was deserved. Well keep quietly climbing up the league and beating all these so called good sides, i really hope not too many scouts are watching our lads cause we are without doubt one of the best sides in this league this season

Sour grapes or what! The Stanley boys fully deserved the victory today - WE ARE THE PRIDE OF LANCASJORE - it says so on me scarf & the printed word does not lie!!!
Well played Stanley - well sung the Stanley fans - Mullers you are wasted in that team, come home for your well deserved testimonial - you know you want to :)

Thought the accolades we got on the Football League show last night were excellent. A team punching above our weight (along with D&R). Were just a small team in Lancashire, but a proud team and proud supporters. Lets get the ground rockin' tomorrow against Bury. Here's hoping that a few more will have sat up and noticed how we are creeping up the league, never mind play offs, only 6 points off automatic promotion with a game in hand. I believe it is possible, just got to upgrade the ground. If the old Wimbledon (MK Dons when they played in SE19) and little Wigan Athletic can do it, so can Accrington Stanley. Just got to keep the team together, The belief is already there.

Yeah, 12 points out of 12 for me. Great win and, as always, superb atmosphere.

The offer of accommodation from Harrow is news to me - that would be an interesting discussion before I set out for the match on Sat morning:-

Wifey: U staying at the usual B&B tonight honey?
Me: Nah, one of the msg board regulars is putting me up.
Wifey: Oh that's nice, what's he like?
Me: Erm, he is infact a she - and she lives in a one bedroom flat!!! (granted that last part is unlikely to be true, but it makes for a funnier story!).

I did however get an offer to stay at Willie Miller's place who I met at the York. Very funny bloke, tho kinda reminds me of Murdoch from the A-Team, in a good way of course ;-)

To Interested Observer, as your thread has been closed, I shall reply on this thread. My apologies that my tongue in cheek referral of your town and football club offends you, but it really should not have been taken too seriously, however, in future I shall forever refer to you as shrimps or Morecambe. I too take offence when called an idiot. That cannot be taken as a tongue in cheek comment. As far as being antipodean, OK when I come from Accrington, live in Wigan (Greater Manchester) and have only visited both Australia (4 times) and New Zealand (once) I will leave that to you to decide. Funny though how only one of you complains yet Morecambe Red et al do not. They saw it for what it was, in jest, which once again I apologise for.
