See what you mean, Sam. Still, it's only a small part of the average student's weekly ale budget, though, eh?:D

Re: Ticket News -V- Fulham!!

On ticket prices i picked up 3 today both my lads have student season tickets and i only paid £10 for each. (I've never seen a concessions session ticket so don't know the difference) I'm not a season ticket holder but have been to about 10 matches both home & away so not classed as a regular but still happy to pay £20. I haven't seen Stanley get beat yet only 1 game drawn, so the lads are hoping I continue with that run. Part of going to Stanley is the atmosphere especially when the Ultra's are in full flow so no doubt Fulham will enjoy their day out.

Come on Stanley!!!!

I dont know why some people are moaning about the prices, this is the first time wev'e been in the 4th round for 51 years. We need people to get behind the team instead of moaning about paying a little bit extra, over the course of a week a pound spent extra a day is not alot is it.Be grateful we have a team as we could have easily lost it last year had ilyas not come to our rescue.

I am going to this one, gotta do it, sick of missing games cause I can't be arsed.......:)

Clayton End will be Red & White, lets make it an occasion to remember.....:)

Just read the whole thing & to be fair, apart from a few, most are just happy to be going. Anyone who stays away for the sake of £5 is MAD i tell theee........

Accrington will be party capital of the world if we win

Harrods v Poundland
Have's v Have not's
Eastenders v Corrie
Kempson v Johnson
Bobby v Hangerland

Tasty stuff boys & girls

PS on a similar note, the centre bit of the Clayton End was packed solid last night, I was amazed that the attendance was only 1300. The design is mad on the Clayton End, can see chaos if it is near sell out. No-one wants to sit in seats on the Clayton End.....

Also well done everbody last night, the noise was ace at times

Fulham fan here congratulations for doing the Gills, without going into too much detail you`ve done fans of us and them a big favour, The Priestfield this saturday would`ve been a bit lively.
Not sure where you get your figures from, 16 to Everton???? more like 300, not great but definitely not 16.We`ll sell out saturday, sold about 800 already and goes on sale to members tomorrow. We actually take decent numbers away in the FA cup, had 2500 at Hillsborough last season.
Hope we get a warmer welcome from you guys than we do from your Claret and Blue neighbours, without a doubt the least hospitable ground i`ve visited, nearly come a cropper there on several occasions and there was me thinking you Lancastrians were friendly folk lol.
Anyway should be a good game and you lot definitely have a chance of turning us over, we`ve got loads out injured and are notoriously bad travellers, hence no f****r goes to away games anymore. We really struggled at Kettering last year for long periods and it wouldnt surprise me one bit if you got a result

Apparently just the highlights are going to be shown on TV here in the UK.
In the unlikely event that someone knows a way of watching it without paying £20 for a ticket, please don't post it on here or there'll be less people at the match and less revenue for the club.

According to 606 Fulham fans they had 1000. Stanley should have 4,500-ish. However whether the half have gone includes fulham or not I don't know.

Our total capacity is less than 5000 and the police never let a ground be totally full. It has been stated that Fulham have 1200 so Stanley will probably have around 3500

If they don't sell out and there is an option to pay on the day I think they will have to go to the ticket office. Once a game is designated all ticket the authorities get very shirty about sticking to it

been trying to get our tickets all day and phone was either engaged or rang out. when i finally got through about 6pm was told that not possible to pay over the phone and would have to get someone to come to the club in person. the fact that we live in nottingham and have a business to run on a day to day basis makes this nigh on impossible for us however we have relations in the area who will kindly get tickets for us tomorrow. unfortunately we now have to sit which will take away a lot of the experience for us and also we are thinking what if they sell out before someone can get there for us.
this is 2010 and stanley are still incapable of having a facility to pay over the phone. how much money is being lost and has anyone else had a similar experience?

this is 2010 and stanley are still incapable of having a facility to pay over the phone. how much money is being lost and has anyone else had a similar experience?

if its a sell out nowt nige. but can sympathise wi yer problem, needs sorting.

Aye, if ya mean the front. I'm assuming this is the plan for the Fulham game however it wouldn't surprise if it's not. My number is about 104, I'm presuming that's near to the half way line on the Clayton End. Great help aren't I?

Seems Fulhams tickets aren't going too well

Why didnt they just sell the remaining tickets on the gate at Acrington - Cottage Corner

KSH I don't think that's a problem I looked on the Fulham website and they were only open to Season Ticket Holders and Fulham FC Members. If there are still tickets left they'll probably put them on sale.

(Posted on January 21, 2010 at 2:09pm) the club have made it really difficult by only selling members tickets at Fulham Ticket office during 9-5pm today and tomorrow

Should be good saturday for the players to play infront of a packed house, hopefully alot of the people that are going that don't usually go will come back as they enjoy the friendly atmoshphere and the football the red play, and buy a few things from the shop.

Too true MCR a real chance to impress some folk, maybe a few flyers handed out for offers for future games especially all them Tuesday ones, a few announcements as well, plug like mad the ASFC REDZ, make sure the bars are stocked etc. Programme Sellers & 50/50 Draw folk are visible

First impressions really do count

Belt, Braces & Hard Hat approach tick all the boxes and hopefully they will return:)

Well done Accie and I really hope your FA Cup run continues. I would expect Fulham to rest some key players on the bench, so you have a chance? We came to watch Accie vrs Chester at the end of last season, lets hope its better than that match! The facilities remind me of the Blues away end 15 years ago and the burgers, hot dogs and chips were sold out soon after half time! Me, my son and a number of neutral fans are coming down to support Accie. We got are tickets tonight in the Clayton end, and there still seemed plenty of seats on the plan for that fan in Nottingham. We'll be giving you are support Saturday. So tell the burger van to stock up. :D

I really hope there is a contingency plan in place for remaining tickets to be sold on Saturday to maximize the gate. However, that would require hourly(?) updates on the fishy site and by manned phones as to availability in order to avoid people being turned away. In any case, an update at close of business tomorrow is a must, I would think. I hate the thought of people being put off by the all-ticket system. Is that at all practicable?

Was someone saying about not having a credit card system in place?
From the website:
"Alternatively if you can't get to the ground you can pay by credit or debit card by calling 01254 356950."

Making the news in today's Guardian...

Full of nostalgia, Accrington Stanley have a chilly welcome for Fulham | Football | The Guardian

...wish they'd stop calling us the Accies, though!
