was able to watch the match via Foxsports and the 'choir' was really impressive - surely the best supporters in the land - well done all.

Hi all, Im a Blackburn fan and I decided that since we weren't in the cup anymore that I would come and give my support to Stanley on Saturday.

I got tickets in the Clayton End and I have to say, absolutely incredible support and what a fantastic change to the dead plastic stadiums of the Premier League.

The team and your support did your town proud and thanks for a really good day! Just about getting over the hangover now

Glad to hear you enjoyed it, Dave. Will you be taking in a few more matches at the Crown when Rovers are away?

Definately! And if Fat Sam contuniues with his current brand of football it might be more often than that!
Was nice to see a team playing football for once :)

You're just stereotyping Premier League fans with the prawn butty digs. It's only Mancs that have that preference, the rest of us prefer Caviar butties :D

What are your attendances like normally?

Also, an old bloke collapsed at back of Clayton End just before Accy's goal. Anybody know if he was ok?

Dave, this season's average league attendance is 2,022, but attendances are usually in the 1,300-1,500 bracket. However, I can assure you that what we lack in numbers, we make up in atmosphere. The craic on the Clayton End is always excellent, that's for sure!

There's a fair few ex-Rovers fans on there. Not expecting you to follow suit and give up your club altogether, but I think you'll find after you've been a few times, it is quite addictive! :)

My mate was stood next to the guy who fainted, it was when we scored it happened

Presume it was either being crammed in too much or maybe a push off somebody when people wer jumpin around

Big Respect to the Stanley Ultras !!!

I'd like to echo my friend Pizzamans comments on a lower thread about the wonderful way that we were treated on our visit to Accrington over the weekend. You Stanley Supporters (Ultras) were fantastic. You should be very proud of your vocal support both in the ground but also before & after in the Crown Pub. I really did enjoy myself.
It reminded me of where we've come from and you never know it could quite easily be you playing higher division football in the future. Don't give up hope & continue supporting your marvellous club in that special way.
I really enjoyed standing up at a game again (oh how I miss that).

If I could say a few thank yous........To Jase (flagman), Ash & Will who we had a great time with, lads you'll be pleased to know that we got into the chinese (after a half hour wait), my mate Nobby fell asleep in there. Keep up doing what you're doing for Stanley & it's Supporters. Good luck for the rest of the season & yes I will be looking out for your results & will pop back on this site from time to time.
Keep making those flags Jase.....they're the business.
Let the landlord of the Crown know we enjoyed ourselves & thank him & his staff for us. Hope he can make use of the Johnny Haynes shirt.
Enjoy your trip to Torquay you'll love it Ash.
Oh yes when you next see John Coleman send my regards.......top fella !!!

All the best
Mick (honest I'm 52 next month)

PS When I finally get round to downloading the photos I'l post them here'

Cheers Mick, our passion has no limits!

Every Fulham fan we met was ace (although a couple were VERY boring) on Saturday. Not you boys. Kept us entertained in the Crown & Coley was on top form. No other manager would be in the Crown telling the supporters a new song to sing for next week.....

Glad you enjoyed it. We all work hard for our club, not just Ultras (We're just the loud ones...)

Being one of the least supported means we make great strides to make up for that in passion on the terrace & friendliness in the pub.

Glad you enjoyed it, spread the word. See ya at an Away game in the future?

Jase

Low lie the fields of Accrington
Where once we saw Ian Craney play (and could he play...)
Gary Roberts on the wing
Paul Mullin scoring...

the rest is a bit hazy to be honest!

I was sat right in the corner of the main stand towards the Clayton End and the old guy was attended to by the St. John's Ambulance chaps and a doctor just in front of where we were sat......he didn't look too well, a bit wobbly on his pins and short of breath, though he seemed to be talking to the St John's staff & the doctor o.k. They wheeled him out on one of those evac chairs, presumably to a waiting ambulance.

Hope the chap was o.k.:(
