Illyas, if reading this, in my humble opinion, please take note.

Priorities......Get J.C. & J.B tied down on long term contracts. What they have done for Stanley in the last ten years under their tenure, should give them the freedom of the borough by now.

This season may, and probably will, prove pivotal in the fortunes of A.S.F.C.

Getting grants to improve facilities, do building work etc, etc, is all well and good.

In my opinion, financial constraints permitting, the only way to increase gates and thus increase available revenue,will be to continue to build upon what has already transpired. Lose any part of the current set up, be it prized and envied management or our prized and envied players, we risk tearing apart a Jigsaw that has taken a decade to put together.:o

Accrington went forty years without a league side. A Lost generation so to speak.The progress J.C. & J.B. have overseen beggars belief, the stuff of fairytales...

Inside the last decade, Bradford played in the prima donna league. Their fall from that so called land of milk and honey has been pretty rapid. I remember trips to places like Hyde......ala " call for the doctor !! "

havent read the whole thread so if this has been mentioned i apologise but realy it would be wise to get the management duo on contracts as they are like players now and if bradford did come in for them they would have to buy the contract our so why not stanley have nowt to loose and alot to gain in this respect

personally i think its just the bradford fans wishing! but as tickler, carpon, n uncle tom cobbly have said, these 2 are worth there weight in gold, n its just plain common sense, GET EM SIGNED UP PLEASE.

I'm not an outright Accy Stan fan but I'd say Coleman has done as much as Ferguson has done at United.. for him to leave would be a bad day for Accy Stan.

Wait a mo, something not right here, Taylor likes Essex and it's, surprisingly for a guy with a rep like Taylor, a short term appointment. Yorkshire Post says Bradford rebuffed by a manager already in a job..........for now. I am not giving up yet.:D

i know as i was in the same hotel on a few occasions

i doubt he will be planning on being there beyond the summer, if they where serious about him they would give him 18 months

It's a 3 month salvage operation, Taylor would not accept a 3 month "trial" contract at a Div2 club otherwise.

Our chairrman “We have been approached by other people who are still under contract and asked if we wanted to talk to them. Obviously Bradford City do our business properly so we won’t be doing that until the summer. We had asked their clubs for permission which was refused.";)
