What are the chances of it being on???? Is it as bad as it looks, or is this a picture from before?? :confused: :)

Pitch snowed under at Crown Ground
http://www.accringtonstanley.co.uk/gfx/snow%20small.jpgAccrington Stanley is asking for help from volunteers to clear the pitch from snow ahead of tomorrow’s game versus Bradford City.


The recent snowfall and icy conditions has left a thick layer of snow on top of the pitch, which is otherwise in great playing condition. If you are able to spend some time assisting the removal of the snow throughout the course of today please come to the club and lend a hand (and a shovel!)

The pitch is clear, covers been put back on in the bad places, were at the hands of the weather tonight now, just hope its only a light frost and everything should be Ok, minus silly temperatures and it won't be looking good

Just had a quick flick through the telly, nowt about inspections on S.S.N. or on Soccer A.M. so hopefully..... Did show Kempos O.G. on soccer A.M. in an "Anything Clarence Seedorf can do, Kempo can do better!" section!!!

Pitch information.

Last night's temperatures have left a little ground frost on the playing surface, however the key areas were protected by covers and the pitch is now in sunlight.

The match referee will be at the club at midday to assess the conditions and a further post will be made here on the official Stanley website shortly after that time.

Pitch information - GAME ON.

Stanley's match against Bradford City will go ahead this afternoon following the referee's arrival at the ground and assessment of the playing surface.

The overnight temperatures had left a little ground frost on the playing surface however the pitch covers did their job in protecting the key areas.

Accrington Stanley would like to thank all volunteers who have assisted in getting the pitch ready for this afternoon's game!
