Next game for Stanley and for the prediction league competition is this Tuesdays game at the Crown against the newly promoted Brewers of Burton Albion.
The reverse fixture at the beginning of December saw Stanley go to the Pirelli and come away with all 3 points after a 2-0 win. Burton are currently level on points with us and 1 place below us due to a slightly inferior goal difference on 9th but have played 3 more than we have. With 4 of the other 6 teams around us in action on Tuesday night, this could be a very important fixture if we are to keep up the pressure on Notts County who are away at Darlo. Burton recently lost 3-2 at Christie Park and yesterday shared 7 goals with Hereford, coming out 4-3 winners, nicking it right at the death.

So who will come out on top? Pesky or Coley? Deadline for entries is kick off which is this Tuesday evening, 23rd Feb at 19:45GMT

game off due to frost so I go to watch Ramsbottom v Bacup (which will end up 1-3 to bacup by the way)

then in the re arranged fixture Stanley run out 2-0 winners and the pie shed steam at the end of the game looks like a pair of swans coupling.

Right some catching up to do as per usual.

Firstly, the Notts County home game - no-one predicted a 3-0 ride in the park for County for that one so no winners.

Macclesfield was next and 1 person correctly predicted a 1-1 draw would be the final result, well done to smudgie on getting 5 points. Steve Chippendale's prediction for that game wasnt a valid one so Im afraid it didnt count.

Then came the away game at Barnet. Quite a few of you correctly predicted a 2-1 Stanley win. Well done to mab, Shurm, AccyMad, Outback Ozzy, deeayess, sparkie, andyh and Leylandii - all getting 5 points. Im afraid glosterred's prediction for this game didnt count as it wasnt complete..

Next was the visit of the Millers to the Crown and again a fair few correctly predicted a 2-1 Stanley win - well done to all the following who got 5 points towards their totals : mab (again), Outback Ozzy (again), Div3North, deeayess (again), sparkie (again), smudgie (again) and last but not least, moi :)

Then it was Rochdales turn to visit the Crown. Only one winner correctly predicted a pessimistic 4-2 win for the Dale, well done to madkev on their 5 points for this result.

Lastly was Tuesday nights game with Burton and nobody predicted a 2-0 win for the Brewers (and rightly so) so no winners for that game.
