Theres never been any doubting Bav's shot stopping ability, and I must agree his kicking has improved alot, however its the Decision making, which has always been Bavs achilles heel.

We won't have to wait too long to find out.

Time to come down to planet earth, methinks. Why is a play off place a must?? We are already fighting above our weight. A top-half finish would be a fantastic achievement. To my mind, the only virtue of a play off position would be the income from a possible Wembley appearance. The club's infrastructure is hardly ready for League 1 yet.

What do you mean by saying you are not sure if Bavs is the right one to get us to the play offs? Can I suggest that at least 10 other players could have a hand in getting us to the play offs if that's where we are to be.

As OO says, the Torquay match gave ample evidence that the back four are quite happy with Bavs.

You talk about notching up a few wins. To do that, we need to score goals - and we have scored 4 in the last 5 games. Are you going blame Bavs for that too?

i am not n never have been Bavs biggest fan, but its a bit much to blame him fer recent results, he has certainly been improved since regaining his place, n can only be gratefull he has. Do i think he's the answer -NO, fer my money its just n easy target at the moment.

Heys lads, I can't believe some are happy just to finish in the top half of the table. Accy deserves to finish in the play offs and further to do well in the play offs. Why accept mediocrity when the lads can strive for excellence. Doesn't make sense to me.

i have said since early season, i think stanley are good enough to get in play-offs, but with realism anything in top half is an excellent result, given the circumstances, no-one is accepting mediocrity. the bookies were not giving good odds on em, n they aint known fer throwing brass away. im still of opinion they will reach play-offs, but regard it as a massive achievement.:)

Agree it would be a massive achievement. Attainable if the right mix of players are on the pitch.

Stanley's performance on Saturday was poor, as JC suggested. A draw would have been more than just reward, but it's not right to criticise any one player for the result. What's more worrying is that Torquay were a poor team.
It was almost as bad as watching the game at Hereford. Can't speak about Lincoln match away but, somehow, Stanley have to stop themselves being dragged down the level of inferior teams.
According to one stats website, against the teams in the top half of League 2, Stanley would be 8th. T
They play well against good sides, who play football, but Saturday's match was, at times, like watching lower grade Conference, or beach volleyball.
Bring back the heavy ball, maybe?
