Surely a move to Stanley would top living in a Scandanavian paradise for the Godwin? |
Re: Accrington Stanley eye loans after embargo is lifted
Why do we need people in on loan, are some of the squad now not good enough, who would you drop from the squad to add a loan player to,

Re: Accrington Stanley eye loans after embargo is lifted
MCR they're tired and need a rest, surely recent results have proved that?

Re: Accrington Stanley eye loans after embargo is lifted
McCarten comes in on loan from Everton

Re: Accrington Stanley eye loans after embargo is lifted
Presumably if the management are looking to strenghten the team you can only assume they haven't given up on their play-off hopes.... unlike most of you lot :p

Johnny Flynn ???

Re: Accrington Stanley eye loans after embargo is lifted
thats what i thought, we have Flynn, mullin, kee, turner, all not played game in game out so can't be as tired as the likes of Symes/Edwards/Winnard, but if it helps our play-off push than good

Re: Accrington Stanley eye loans after embargo is lifted
Players coming in should be better than what we already have, competition for places is Great so long as it does what it says on the Tin.
I would also be using it as an opportunity to either cast an eye other possible season long loan signings for next season or ones who realistically have not much chance at making the grade in the higher leagues but who could do a job for Stanley next season. |

Wiki facts!!
James McCarten / Player Profile / evertonfc.com – The Official Website of Everton Football Club. Stanley site. Transfer News. Thursday 11th Mar 2010. McCarten joins on loan. John Coleman has completed the short term loan signing of Everton defender James McCarten. The 19-year-old's move had been delayed due to a temporary transfer embargo, but he has now completed the switch to the Crown Ground. "I've been waiting around for a couple of weeks wanting to sign," said McCarten. "I trained here a few weeks ago but wasn't allowed to play in the games so I went back to Everton to train. Now the embargo has been lifted I'm really happy to come here and try to get some games." McCarten signed his first professional contract in October 2008 and has since gone on to be a regular in Everton's reserve team. Coleman has been keen to capture the Netherton-born centre-back for some time and was delighted to finally get his man. "He's a good player," said the boss. "He's good in the air, he's a good talker for one so young and he adds competition at the back." McCarten trained with the first team today and could make his Stanley debut at Barnet on Saturday. We already have more central midfielders than we need, plus more central defenders than we need, so why do we loan another defender, yet we still do not have a leftback??? |
