Good player for Radcliffe in the Unibond, but not too impressive for Shrewsbury in the Conference. Still, he is a good finisher, and if we set up the opportunities for him he could easily score the goals. Could be a good signing.

Hope we sign a strong centre half soon.

Yes we do need a good centre half but we've sent a perfectly good one, smithy, to barrow. Although it has been said that he isn't good enough for the conference, we need height at the back and the only defender who stands out as being tall other than smithy is stuart howson.

We haven't SENT Smithy anywhere, he's on loan. If he was wanted for selelction this Saturday or any Saturday then Coley would & could play him. He would be recalled from his loan.

He's a squad player & will do a job but he wouldn't ever be first choice. I think Hacker will have a brilliant season this year anyway so there is no need for a new centre half. Rocky & Hacker for England & Stanley, they'll do for me!

We've been hard to breat in preseason but a little disappointing in attack & the last 3rd. Therefore I suspect & hope for many 1-0 wins this season.

Come on Stanley & welcome Banim, he came on & looked bright when we played the Shrews away & the Shrews fans liked him & they were promoted.

Jimmy Quinn didn't give him a chance to play well, just messing him about substituting him for 10-15 minutes at a time and the forcing the lad to say he isn't up to that level of play. What a ******! I hope he does brilliantly for Accrington and makes the idiot eat his words.
