I live and work in clitheroe and couldn't go because of the 2pm ko time!My question is why 2pm and not 5 or 6pm ko time thus allowing not just myself but other stanley fans time to go and watch the game who live in and around the town, and may be get the local kids to come along :) This to me is a big oppotunity for the club to grow its fan base in clitheroe .Get to the local schools with fee tickets get the club mascot out and about :)football in the comunity shouldn't just be for kids of hyndburn.

Interested to know why you think ASFC should be trying to entice the football fans of Clitheroe to the Crown Ground? It's the people of Hyndburn who need to be persuaded!
Clitheroe have their own football club who work very hard to try and get the locals to watch their town's team! Just like Stanley they also have to compete for fans with Rovers and Burnley.

... and we have every right to be competing in Clitheroe! We are getting a steady stream of people coming from Clitheroe who want to watch League football. It is a town that has no allegiance to another club and is there for the taking.

You are right about Clitheroe working hard to win fans for themselves and that is why we need to work with The Blues (such as having mathes there
where they get to keep the gate money/bar takings) so that it is mutually convenient for us to take all their potential custom.

btw, Observer tomorrow says that Dunbavin saved all three penalties in the shootout.
