Coley & Jimmy!
Accrington Stanley FC
New deal for Stanley management team John Coleman and assistant Jimmy Bell are set to sign new three year deals today according to Accrington Stanley managing director Dave O'Neill. The management pair have been offered a new deal to extend their 11-year tenure at the Crown Ground until 2013 and have just been waiting to put pen to paper on the contracts. From Thobserver, if it is true, then it is not before time!!! :) :) |
Re: Coley & Jimmy!
that was in last weeks paper buddy!
todays (tomorrows) says summat like "they are yet to finalise their deals despite O'Neil saying it would be done last week" |
Re: Coley & Jimmy!
The worrying thing there Val is that was last week's paper hinting they were signing last Friday, also Ilyas in his interview on the radio the deal was agreed weeks ago but they were waiting for the paperwork?
Like the deals for Grant & Symes, Club saying deals on table since January, Bobby saying he would sign any contract? Something just dosn't stack up or is just the Club that are dragging their feet or individuals, I would suspect there will be Clubs in for some of the players over the summer and if they are not tied down or do not have the offers in front of them they may just move on:( |

Coley
Jimmy Symes Grant all about to be offered contracts in January and none have yet signed ... have they been offered them and we are too slow to get them drawn up? We'll regret it if so. There's an article in todays Telegraph about Symes and apparently Jimmy has been telling him that he'll regret moving as we are very lenient with him regards training etc because he has chocolate ankles (my words not Jimmy's) and other clubs wouldn't put up with it etc etc. |
Re: Coley & Jimmy!
Chocolate ankles & canoooes, & when he gets both right he scores :D
They are reluctant to sign ...........because ...?????? |

Is that fact or a WISPA ? Hopefully this won't go too far off TOPIC but he needs to be careful when he goes in to a CRUNCHIE tackle :) |

Budgets I fear will play a key part in who signs and who moves on

Re: Coley & Jimmy!
I think Symes is twix' a rock and a hard place (one fer t'oldies) and is tempted to say snickers to the lot of us.

The longer this contract thing goes on, the worse it will be for Stanley! For the sake of the club and the FANs, GET IT SORTED OUT!!!!!!!

Good Call Val!!
What is the hold up? How good would it be by the final game of the season to have the Managerial Duo signed up and the players who are in their plans signed up. Last Year obviously with things going on in the background we were not aware of it seemed like an age before the squad came together. When the season is up players etc. go off on their holidays and things can rumble on, there will be lots of things hopefully going on behind the scenes with regard the ground itself. I know this season is not yet finished and a few more points on the board would be a fillip for everyone after a long hard season. But as the old saying goes "The Early Bird Catches the Worm" |
