I hope, that after the year that we have had, that this event will be well attended -by all groups, but somehow think that it will be the usual suspects!!!

Re: OSC Presentation Night 1st May 2010

ALtho not amused that coley will not be doing his own presentation as usual as part of standard events of the osc presentation night............as quoted from fishy site hmm. Seems that only those that are going to the boxing will see coleys players awards ceromony. A little shun on the osc & the fans tho :(

Quote:

The charity fight night, in aid of the Leonard Cheshire Disability Charity and Accrington Stanley Football Club has been arranged by Maree Boxing Promotions of Gisburn, Lancashire and the football club. The whole event is set to contain a three course meal, auction of Football and Boxing memorabilia, and as well as hosting a range of amateur boxing bouts, prior to the main fight there will be the end of season player awards.

No u misunderstand, coley isnt getting an award LOL well he might but not part of his OWN end of season awards - which he has done @ every osc end of season - our 1 main annual event! We present players with results of the fans casted vote winners and website award to players whom won, then Coley takes over & presents his own awards to his players whom shone out for Jimmy & himself.

Well good for the bigwigs, some wont know our players names, just a shame yer stanleyfan going week in week out & those that go supporting em on away matches, would have wanted to see coleys presentation as well as the osc standard ones too. Just seems ah right we got a better venue sod the clubhouse lot. Ah well hope they enjoy the evening i do know its for a really good cause no disrepect to Ilyas & hope him, his family & Peter can make our do as well even bigwigs are welcome too :D The OSC have funded this event & no charges this year in hope that it will be well attended, donations always welcome.

Anyways for that note please come along all welcome for last nite of home match for summer break, as it could well be the OSC's last collaberation if support for it doesnt improve......make most of it folks.
