Fans Tournament

I recieved an email from Royal Manchester's Childrens Hospital offering a tournament at Ewood Park on 16th May BUT it was £250 per player. I was wondering would it be possible for Accrington Stanley to organise something simlair at lower cost of £75?

I remember Rob Heys saying about having a charity fundraiser once we were financially stable, which after listening to Ilyas I believe we are.

Would this be possible? And who would I have to speak to? I have a team of 15 players who were up for a tournament.

£250!! .. We're in a tournament at Tranmere on Bank Holiday Monday .. Apparently a team (Bury) have dropped out.

It's a tournament of Teams fans teams playing (make sense?) This tournament there is only 8 teams in it, 2 leagues then knock out stages.

Are you boys going to Worldnet? The annual tournament of the year. Nearly every team is in it and it's a great weekend away, i think registration is closed for that now thoug

Bolton is only £100!

I was thinking something similair to that but allowing any team to sign up. This could also be followed up by a team of 'individuals' and the winner could play a pre-season friendly against the new Accrington Stanley?

And StanleyMad will he be at the game tonight?

I would guess it depends how long the pitch is out of action for as to what they will allow over the close season.

Or when they start work. Could play the day after our last game of the season?

Not 100% sure but I think there may be a COE Football Festival on the 09th May?

Could ask in person instead. Turns out I'm not going tonight anyway. I'll ring up tomorrow.
If this did go ahead would the Ultras Team be interested in playing?
